The alarm is loud enough to send would-be thieves running away!
The lock has an option of locking with or without the alarm feature, so you can save the batteries when you just need the lock. This lock is heavy duty and well made, so even if no one was around to hear the alarm, the thieves would find it difficult to get the lock off. The alarm is loud. I showed my new locks to my neighbors (the ones who don't shop online) and they asked me to order some for them. They said thieves will just run away as soon as the alarm goes off. I put them on all three gates to my property.

Great padlock!!!!
My boyfriend and I were moving together and he bought this for our U-Haul trailer ! Let me tell you ! We had no worries for our stuff in the back of the trailer ! Secure and really great quality overall! I highly recommend!
