Bought for extending a Cambridge Audio amp control into another room, I was surprised how wellIt works! Thought there would be some incidents of things not syncing up from time to time but it just works 100% of the time no issues. Just stick the little pads on the front of your amp etc next to the built in IR receiver and you can position the extended IR receiver where ever you like.

Arrived very quickly, I am using this to get around my big cat as he sits in the way of the PVR recorder, works perfectly and very easy to install, the infrared lights come out of the holes in the mounting pads and the receiver sensor pickup is through the top, very powerful and it is possible to control more than one unit per IR transmitter if its stuck with the holes facing at least 6 inches/150mm away from the units

I bought this IR receiver to control a device that was hidden behind a door on my TV unit and it works well unless the IR receiver is in sunlight and then the receiver does work properly.It works well otherwise so just be aware of where you position the IR receiver.

it works well, except around about 2pm it has a problem picking up the signal, LOL, and I have to wave the control about until it picks it up. Weird I know, then it's fine again from about 5pm. To be able to have equipment in a cupboard is so tidy, it's great. Really good value for money and I would recommend

I bought this so I could operate my Humax box behind the doors of a wooden media cabinet. It was fairly easy to set up and get working on day 1. On day 2, it wouldn't operate with the emitter in the same place, but I was able to get it working by changing the position. On day 3, I couldn't get it to work in any position. So it's being returned, and I'm buying a more expensive one from a well-known brand, which hopefully will be more reliable.

This simple but very effective remote control extender is quite amazing. I was initially a bit wary because it looks like a really simple piece of kit and it’s so cheap. But it works perfectly!I installed the IR receiver hidden out of sight under my audio sound-bar using the self-adhesive backing. The extender is powered from a spare 5 volt USB output on the uninterruptable power supply (my UPS battery backup) that powers my entire AV system. I fixed the emitters using their self-adhesive backing over the IR-receivers of my satellite receiver, Western Digital media player, Philips Blue-Ray player and Sony Bravia TV. It just needed a few moments of moving the emitters around in front each device to find the location of the IR-receivers. The cables were long enough to reach each device, and where necessary I split the pairs of cables – they are designed to control 4 separate devices, they’re not paired electronically.This remote control kit works so well that I am now able to control my AV equipment from anywhere in my large living room, even from the farthest-most corners. I am really amazed that it works so well.

Works very well when it is stuck to the device. But after a month it doesn't stick at all. Seeking warranty claim.

ich habe mir diesen Infrarot-Verteiler gekauft, da meine Geräte in ein IKEA Besta-Regal mit Rauchglastüren umgezogen sind. Dadurch kommt das IR-Signal bei mir leider nicht immer zuverlässig an. Mit diesem Verteiler klappt es jetzt ohne Probleme, sogar aus ca. 7-8m Entfernung!Da kein Netzteil dabei ist, habe ich es mit mehreren MicroUSB-Netzteilen ausprobiert und es funktioniert sogar mit einem einfachen 0,3A Netzteil ohne Einschränkungen.Die Montage ist relativ simpel: man sollte nur vor dem Aufkleben Der Sender prüfen, wo genau der IR-Empfänger am Gerät sitzt. Diese sind meist nicht sehr gut sichtbar. Fehler werden aber verziehen, denn die Klebepads ließen sich auch mehrfach entfernen und wieder kleben.Die einzelnen Sender sind jeweils in Paaren zusammen gelegt, die man aber durch simples ziehen auseinander bringen kann. So können die Empfangsgeräte auch relativ weit auseinander stehen (ca. 1 meter)Man sollte evtl. wissen, dass der beste Empfang auf der "Oberseite" des Empfängers ist. Darüber bin ich zunächst gestolpert, da der Empfang von vorne oder den Seiten sehr schlecht ist.Die oben angebrachte LED empfinde ich schon als störend, daher habe ich sie mit einem winzigen Klebepad abgeklebt. Obwohl andere Käufer von einer optischen Empfangsbestätigung berichten (rot bei Empfang), kann ich die nicht bestätigen. Bei mir leuchtet die LED durchgehend (hell!) grün.Insgesamt bin ich (mit etwas Customizing) sehr gut mit dem Verteiler zufrieden. Zwei weitere Sender hätten ihm sicher gut getan, aber dafür gibt es ja Alternativen zu kaufen.
