Another book in the treasure trove of training books provided by Mark Kistler. Great way to get your budding artist moving in the right direction. Easy and fun to follow.

I was a bit disappointed with this book. It does do step by step, but the drawings by the reader are meant to be in the book, so these extra empty pages bump out a thin book that's quite light on content.

Don't let the cartoon nature of Mark's books fool you. There are solid drawing principles underlying each and every lesson. You are not learning to copy. You are learning to build on these principles to create your own drawings in your own style. Have fun!

This book is really cute and useful. I bought it to use with a seven-year-old that I kid sit. He could easily follow the book and really enjoyed the activities. He didn't want to put down his pencil.
