MY SANDWICHES ARE NEVER SQUISHED, I'M NOT WASTING ANY PLASTIC, AND I'M NOT WASTING MY (MOM'S) MONEY ON PLASTIC BAGS
These sandwich containers have made a huge difference in my life. I used to make sandwiches for school every day growing up & in college, and would always use a plastic bag to carry them in. Not only would my sandwich be squished most days, but I was also wasting tons of plastic and my mom's money on sandwich bags (I was a stupid kid, I know). About 3 years ago I came across these containers here on Amazon, and thought I would give them a try.It was seriously one of the best decisions of my life.Nowadays, my sandwich game is on point. I am no longer in school, but I do work full time and bring sandwiches to work for lunch on a daily basis. And guess what? MY SANDWICHES ARE NEVER SQUISHED, I'M NOT WASTING ANY PLASTIC, AND I'M NOT WASTING MY (MOM'S) MONEY ON PLASTIC BAGS. IT'S PRETTY GREAT.Sandwich/plastic/money benefits aside, the containers themselves are great. They seal well, they seal simply (user friendly clasps), and they are easy to wash. I have used all 3 of mine consistently since purchasing (3 years ago) and haven't had any issues in terms of durability. These containers are the real deal, and they will last you a long time (assuming some jealous sandwich game spies don't steal them from you). Do yourself a favor and bring your sandwich game up a notch by buying yourself this 3 pack of sandwich containers. You will thank me (or yourself) later.

> DOES THE JOB
FEATURES OF SISTEMA KLIP-IT CONTAINERS>> Absolute seal--achieved by "O-rings">> Easy to open/close. You do not have to press the containers closed nor pry them open. Just place lid on top and "latch" closed, or unlatch and lift the lid off.>> The sides of most are nearly vertical, not inclined. So, you can't stack the bottoms inside one another. But that also means that there is no wasted space.>> For all practical purposes, you must store them with the lids on. But that also means you don't have to hunt for the lids. Containers of the same size stack well on top of one-another, and those with the same size top stack well.>> The top adds another 3/8" or so of usable space, so you can fill the containers "to the brim".CAUTION>> While the Sistema containers are nominally "dishwasher safe", any plastic can be damaged by the heating coils in your dishwasher. I learned this because my current Bosch dishwasher doesn't have a "drying" cycle, the metal pots and ceramics dishes dry from the heat they absorb from the washwater. The plastic doesn't dry at all---but it also remains undamaged, compared to my Frigidaire dishwasher which regularly damaged my plastic storage containers. Several other reviewers report that dishwashing the Sistema lids causes them to distort, and for the blue lock clips to become brittle and break. So, if you want your Sistema containers to last, either hand-wash them, or turn off the "dry" cycle of your dishwasher (or choose a cycle which "air dries"). You'll also save a lot of electricity ($$$).>> While the Sistema containers are nominally "microwave safe", any plastic can be damaged by overheating---especially the tops which can warp. While you can CAREFULLY warm up cold food in a Sistema container in a microwave: ALWAYS take the top off first. DO NOT attempt to cook anything in a Sistema container.>> While the Sistema containers are nominally "freezer safe", they are very brittle when "freezer cold". Do not drop them, and allow them to warm up a little before you try to open them.INTERIOR MEASUREMENTS of the container's I've purchased>> 101-ounce rectangular: 8 1/2" wide X 6" deep X 4" tall---top the same as "67.6 oz container">> 67.6-ounce rectangular: 8 1/2" wide X 6" deep X 2 1/2" tall---top the same as "101 oz container">> 15.2-ounce sandwich boxes: 5 1/4" X 5 1/4" X 1"---top same as "40-ounce lunch container">> 40-ounce lunch container: 5 1/4" X 5 1/4" X 2 1/2" tall---top the same as "15.2 oz sandwich box container"USES> I have 4 101-oz containers, 2 67.6-oz containers, and 6 sandwich containers. Together this make up a "group picnic kit">> The 101-Oz makes a great bread box. I use them for bread and chips.>> The 67.6-Oz makes a great cookie box. I use them for potato salad, and cole slaw.>> The 15.2-Oz is great for sandwiches. I use them for sliced cheese and lunchmeat.> Click on “Stoney” just below the product title to see my other reviews, or leave a comment to ask a question.

Practical and awesome.
We are from the US but used to live in NZ, so were ecstatic to be able to order these here in the states. SIZE: for us, it is the perfect size. All store bought brands of bread will fit in here (it is perfect size, the sandwich fits yet won't slide around). It is smaller than other sandwich containers by about 1/2 a cm to 1cm in height, but for any standard store bought bread it is more than adequate. It is easy to close and open and seals wonderfully. DURABILITY: like many things from NZ it is rugged and no frills (our kids carried them to school for over a year in NZ with no problems; they didn't even have a hot lunch program at their school, everyone brought lunches and they could heat them up if needed, so called "heat-ups"). That said, we always hand wash these containers and don't put these in the dishwasher. Our house in NZ didn't even have one, I don't think it is common to have a dishwasher there so I can't comment on how it stands up to that one way or the other, but I know rubbermaid will warp in the dishwasher especially on the bottom rack so I doubt it is any different. SUMMARY: durable, rugged, easy to use, and perfect size for any standard sandwich bread and sandwich.

Better than expected, perfect size sandwich boxes
I didn't expect to like these so much. They work great. The snap closure is solid. I haven't tested for leak fastness, but it's a sandwich box and so far no sandwiches have leaked out. They can be a little hard to snap and unsnap, but that's fine by me. I'd rather them be too hard to open than too easy. They seem more solid than I was expecting. The plastic is a touch thin, but the material seems hard wearing enough that I'm not worried about them breaking.I like the colors. They clean up in the washing machine fine. They seem to stay more wet than most dishes for some reason, but I just dry them off before putting them up.I definitely recommend these boxes. Will update if they ever let me down.

Great sandwich container.
I like this plastic container. It comes in a 3 pack. They are great for sandwiches and other things, like dried fruit. I like to put a sandwich in it to eat it for lunch, but others may like to use these for other things. They seal very nicely. I have not experienced any leaking from these containers. Of course, sandwiches don't leak a whole lot. I also like the clear plastic. This way you can quickly look at the container and see if there is a sandwich or other food in it, without having to open it. That is a great feature for busy people who may forget that they packed a lunch.
