I recently purchased the New Balance 442 V2 Team FG firm ground soccer cleats. I normally wear a size 9.5, but even going up to a size 10 in the wide fit, the cleats still feel very snug. There is not a great amount of arch support so if you’re between sizes or prefer a little extra room, I’d recommend sizing up one full size. That said, the build quality is impressive. The materials feel durable and well put together, and the overall construction gives me confidence they’ll hold up through regular use. Only time will really tell. The design is clean and classic, and once broken in, I expect they’ll feel more comfortable on the pitch. Overall, a solid cleat with great materials, and value for the money but be mindful of the sizing.

I’ve been playing in the cleats for a few weeks now and I’m really happy with them so far. They have that old-school leather feel but still feel light on the foot. The touch on the ball is super clean and they broke in after 1–2 sessions, no major hot spots or blisters for me. The fit is a bit more forgiving than some of the super-narrow brands, which I appreciate. I’d say they run true to size, maybe just slightly snug at first, but the leather stretches nicely. Traction on firm natural grass is solid—no slipping when cutting or accelerating, and the stud pattern feels stable without being too aggressive. Comfort-wise, they hold up well for a full match. The insole and heel lockdown are good enough that I don’t feel my feet sliding around. They’re not flashy, but if you want a reliable, classic-looking boot that does everything well without costing a fortune, these are a great choice.

My son 13 year old son has a wide toe bridge. We have been on a mission finding cleats that are wide enough to feel comfortable to wear. While all cleats continue to remain uncomfortable to him, he found the New Balance Men's 442 V2 Team FG Soccer Shoe in Wide as well as the Adidas Unisex Copa Mundial cleats to feel the least uncomfortable for him. Ultimately he chose the New Balance cleats because he likes their modern style compared to the older style of the Adidas. Hopefully these cleats will stretch out to accommodate his foot bridge and become more comfortable for him to wear.

New balance or bust, in my opinion. I'm 30 years old and have found that my feet/knees only like NB shoes. I've always got nikes in the past. in fact the last pair I got were from 10 years ago. but they don't sell the ones I like anymore. So these! have a classic look and feel. The padding isn't too thick, perfect for defenders and mids. easy clean up with leather cleaner. even on the white. My feet are more narrow and I don't have much play in the toe box. I've used them for about 6 months now and they're holding up well. Mind you, I only play about once a week. I did decide to purchase these after I got the turf version for coaching my son's team. Those I wear and play with when coaching for the past couple years and I really enjoy the fit and durability. My son will be getting these once he grows out of his current pair.

My son plays alot of soccer year round & recently started having some foot pain. He is 10 wearing a men's size 8 shoe. After doing some research & visiting with a physician, it was brought to my attention that his cleats could possibly be a big part of the problem (along with other factors). Soccer cleats are very narrow & compress feet, especially when compared to other sport cleats. His feet have had a recent growth spurt (another big factor for the foot pain), & he just really needed a much wider cleat. I absolutely could not find any "wide" width soccer cleats available in any store or online. This was the only option I eventually found, so I purchased & took a chance. I am so glad I did!! After his first time wearing these, he immediately said he needed these for so long & that they made a world of difference when playing! I regret not purchasing these sooner, but I am glad I made the purchase. As far as the cleat itself, he has been wearing them for a month now several times a week, & so far they are holding up. They do not seem to be as good quality made as other cleats we have owned in the past, so I will definitely update if they do start trying to fall apart. I did see other reviewers state this issue, & I have my concerns, but so far they are good. I did replace the insoles with a better cushion insole, as the ones that come with the cleats are very thin with no cushion at all. I did purchase the "red" cleats, & before doing so, I did notice reviewers stating that the red isn't a true red, more of a pink. When arriving, I personally thought they were a red but just more of a bright red. It wasn't until he wore a pair of red socks that I realized they are indeed not a true red but more of a bright coral color in my opinion. But, the color doesn't bother him, & lots of boys are wearing bright color cleats including pink these days, so the color isn't really a big concern. Overall, I would definitely purchase these again as they are a great "wide" width option for any soccer player.

Der Schuh sieht gut aus und macht einen wertigen Eindruck. Leider war er für die Fuße meines Sohnes etwas zu eng und wir mussten ihn zurück senden. Aber Lieferung und Rückabwicklung waren einwandfrei.

Los zapatos muy bien me gustaron mucho, lastima que venían reducidos de talla, me lleve una desilución ya que los espere por mucho tiempo y al final no pude utilizarlos ya que venían al menos medio número más chicos, al final se los done a mi hermano y el los utiliza muy gustoso.
