Bought this to refit some slate tiles that had fallen off the side of the recess housing our multifuel stove. It was easy to apply and to date the tiles are secure. The previous fitter had used a dot and dab technique but I applied a more liberal amount in a linear style. This allowed the adhesive to fill the uneven background and I was impressed with the grab of the adhesive. It was well worth paying for this heat resistant adhesive instead of the cheaper alternatives out there.

Tiles stayed on through last winter and are not showing any signs of movement. I used to fix some old tiles to the rough wall around are woodburner - a good test

Product was stored for 3 months (indoors) before use. Was disappointed that, despite shaking the tube prior to use, the first full squeeze of my caulking gun produced only a thin, watery solution which was of no use and, I considered, a costly waste of product. Eventually, I got to some more substantial consistency in the product which actually adhered to the tile back. With the adhesive of a thicker consistency the tiles were easily positioned and fixed. I used 4 of 5 tubes ordered and all four had the consistency issue initially.
