I recently purchased this cable due to my new role as a teacher; they have an interactive board that requires a connection of HDMI. Of course, with the Macbook Pro 2016 - Present no HDMI ports. Just USB-C/Thunderbolt. So I definitely needed this cable for my work portability. I have had some HDMI adapters of sorts in the past. However, none of them matches the quality and the ease of use of this cable. It literally just works. To set the context, I don't exactly have small requirements when it comes to testing the capabilities of a cable. At my desk, I have 2 4K 60Hz LG Monitors, after using the interactive board in the class, plugged the cable into one of the monitors and there it is 4K 60Hz, no problem at all. This cable is definitely one of the best offerings out there, the price is extremely good considering the quality that you get, amazingly braided and quality feeling terminals with fully metal jackets. The convenience of it being all one cable and not terminating into a Female HDMI port, ready to pair it with any HDMI cable you obtain, which can cause compatibility issues or look way too bulky. UniAccessories HDMI to USB-C is such an elegant solution to a problem that shouldn't be of any technological thought. It does exactly what it says on the tin, whatever you do. More insight will come when I use this cable to its absolute tether, over a long period of time. In short, it is an excellent quality cable that just works, whatever demand and UniAccessories offer a lifetime warranty, so why wouldn't you get this.

Recently I've been sent away with work and getting bored of terrestrial TV in the hotel's when trying to chill so thought I'd get this for use with my iPad. I'm glad I did and wish I did earlier. Quality is great and worked first time after plugging it in. I was able to watch Netflix, Disney+, Prime, etc. straight onto the hotel room tv, literally plug & play. Video quality of the shows from the iPad to the TV was great, definitely HD and sound quality was brilliant too. The cable itself looks high end and materials seem very durable. Comes with a little velcro tidy wrap to keep the cable wrapped up when not in use which is a nice extra touch. I got the 1m length which worked nicely for the hotel I was in but maybe I should have gone for a longer one as I know some hotels have TV's not near a desk, etc. I wasn't able to test the 120hz as the TV's in the hotel don't usually have that ability and my intention isn't to be using it for that anyway.

The design is compact and the cable is not too long, as it will make the desk top messy if too long. The adapter is very good in quality, I can feel it in my hand that it will last, and my monitor has no flake and the colour and sharpness is true and up to your monitor can give you. Now this is the best part of this adapter, no heat that I can feel coming from the connection point at all, even it has a blue digital light to show it is working. We know no computer or monitor like eat, and this is one of the best I tried so far on the heat level. Money well spent.

I bought this to connect my MacBook Air to a HP external monitor as well as to the TV. The TV connection was unproblematic and worked well although I had to play around with volume controls to get it working through the TV. That bit was a bit trial and error. Seemed fine when playing an on demand video but doing it live on zoom was a little less obvious. Still not 100% sure what I did to solve it. I did have problems with the monitor because for the most part I got nothing and at best I got a picture of my desktop background but nothing else. Customer service was very responsive and also I found some on line help from the uni site itself. The solution seemed to be upgrading my Macs operating system to Ventura and ensuring I connected the cable while both monitor and MacBook were off. Once I could see my screen I was able to go into settings...display settings....and see my external monitor. I switched to mirroring and it worked. Hope that helps anyone else struggling. So far so good

I travel a lot with work and inevitably end up in hotels with either bad TV service or unwatchable programs. I wanted to watch my movie subscription services, such as Amazon Movies from my iPad Pro to a TV monitor. The only way to connect my iPad was with a USB-C (iPad) to a TV's HDMI output. After some research, I came across the UNI USB C to HDMI Cable (4K@60Hz) USB Type-C to HDMI and ordered via my Amazon account, and the cable arrived the next day. It comes in a small unassuming box with the manufacturer's UNI logo. The box is brand-sealed - a good thing so that you know it is nobody else's return. The process of connecting the iPad Pro to the TV is easy; I plugged in the USB-C cable to the USB-C input on the iPad, then connected the other end of the cable (HDMI) to the HDMI input on the Television. Once connected, I navigated to the menu which gave the option to choose the channel where the HDMI is located. This may happen automatically on some TVs. I am pleased to say it works perfectly; I can now watch subscription services that are on my iPad, and watch 4K videos that are accessible via Plex and my QNAP server (the cable is capable of transferring 4K video at 60Hz). I am also able to work from my iPad and use a TV interface as a secondary monitor. All-in-all, I am pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who wants to tether their iPad to a TV monitor screen.

I purchased this cable to use it on a new MacBook Pro 2018 15 inch. I have tried the cable everywhere I can and it works fine, it gets warm on the HDMI plug but this is normal with USB-C as far as I know (circuitry is on the plug). I can confirm it works at 3840x2160 at 60 Hz (4K Samsung monitor LU28E590DS/EN) However, there is a small glitch with it that I am not sure it is the cable's fault. If I plug the cable on the left top side of my computer, I cannot join any Wifi that operates on a 2.4Ghz, it seems that it creates interference. I can join WiFi that operates at 5.3GHz perfectly fine. I read that the wifi antenna is on the left side of the Mac as well. In the past that was the place where Apple placed the power connector. Other people have reported similar issues possibly using different cables (You can search online for "Macbook Pro Cannot Connect to 2.4 GHz Wifi"). I do not know if this particular issues happens with all cables but I also tried with a UNI small female converter they sent me and it is the same issue, so uni cable might not be the issue. I also have the same behaviour with a USB metallic adaptor that I purchased (although I suspect in this case is related to the USB-C driver since it has an Ethernet adaptor as well) On the right side of the Mac, there are no WiFi issues. Nice quality. I cannot say how long it will last, but if durability is as good as the finishing of the product, it should last a long time.

Can confirm this works at 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 chroma on a Surface Book 2 when directly connected to the USB-C port. Due to a limitation of the USB-C port on the SB2 it will only work when directly connected and will not work via a USB dock connected to the USB-C port (there's insufficient bandwidth available for both the 5Gbps USB 3.1 ports on the dock and the dock's HDMI port to do 4K60 at the same time so the dock downgrades its HDMI port to 4k30). In my case I simply add a cheap USB expansion dock to one of the SB2's USB 3.1 'A' ports to hold my keyboard, mouse and headset receivers. The cable itself is nice and flexible and the HDMI connector (where the smart signal converter is embedded) is slim and doesn't have any issues fitting into the TV port.

I was expecting some cheap Chineese cable. What I received was positively way beyond expectations. It's a nice wire covered with some fabric (kind of like clothes). It is REALLY WELL made, looks very nice from the first seconds you deal with the product as packaging itself is very nice. The box is small, without unnecessary empty extra space. It's all minimalistic, simple symmetric shape with nice colours, designs and all the necessary info. Just the feel of the box is pleasant as it's kind of velvetty. Then you open the the box and, I repeat, you pull out really nice cable. One could think ''how much can you be excited about stupid cable''. And I agree completely, but then I saw this one and I am absolutely impressed. Even the little wire that is always enclosed to keep the cable folded has been replaced with a velcro strap like in the high end products. Then you get a little card inside with a few basic questions and answers and the contact info. No ''milion pages booklets'' that nobody even looks at. Honestly, I have not seen such a nice product for long time, and when taking into consideration the price - I don't think I have ever. The bad thing is that it simply does not work with Sony Experia L1, which I suspected after reading the product info prior purchase. I am going to try this on another TV as well, and also with HTC. Nevertheless, sooner or later I'll get a phone or tablet that will be compatible with this and my satisfaction from the purchase will be absolute. Overall, the product is a state of art. In the era of cheap and non-lasting ''made in China'' world, this is a unique stuff, exceeding it's value for the price. UNUSUAL!

Ik heb deze kabel aangeschaft om het beeld van mijn iPad Pro 2020 via mijn Denon AV receiver weer te geven op mijn televisie. Dat werkt perfect. Zowel beeld als (multikanaals!) geluid worden goed doorgestuurd en weergegeven. De kabel ondersteunt HDCP, waardoor ook content van bijvoorbeeld Netflix kan worden weergegeven als de receiver dat ondersteunt. Sommige apps sturen het signaal beeldvullend uit (zoals Netflix). Bij andere apps moet je de beeldmodus op je televisie even aanpassen om schermvullend beeld te krijgen. Deze kabel is een absolute aanrader!

Very poor dilevery..no frequent updates to the buyer. And sent a wrong product what I was orderd. Even the product description on amazon and the actual product is not same...
