Learn to Draw Animals! (Young Artist Series) Paperback – Coloring Book, December 31, 2015

I purchased this book for my granddaughters 6th birthday, and she loves it. The instructions are easy to follow, and her drawings are perfect. I attached her artwork to this review. I’m on here to pick another book for her for Christmas, there is quite a selection to choose from. This book is a win-win!

My kids really love to draw but are still learning. This book is ideal for teaching how to draw cute but simple drawings. Nothing complex or too difficult. I was really impressed how much better my 5 year old did drawing a horse after she practiced following the directions in this book. So many books I looked at were too complex for young school aged kids, but I thought this was spot on for my 5 year old novice artist. I myself enjoy drawing but have very little formal training and I enjoyed using it to draw some cute pictures for my kids to color.We use this as a fun craft time activity to do together that doesn’t require planning time or costly materials. I plan to get more of these soon.

So far a good item, explains step by step what to draw in order. The book is a page size long way & wideness. Nice for 5+ yr olds & any age beginners to draw. But I was hoping for the price it had more pages of animals to draw.It is a thin book, it's a lot less than 1/2 of inch of pages. Overall the book is an okay buy.Thank you

The book is a really great confidence builder. Idk if anyone else has a little that shys away from drawing things bc they don't know how, but mine does. This was really great way for her to try and trust the process. She is 6 and loves drawing and really likes it.

But the long cold, northern winter made it the perfect gift. As much as he enjoys reading and Leggos, it becomes the same old thing after several big storms. This has generated some excitement and he loves learning new drawing ideas.

My daughter just started getting interested in drawing things, so I decided to get her this book. It is easy to follow, and has lots of cute pictures to learn how to draw. She loved it and I am learning a few things along with her. Win-win.
