You leave the mist on your face, preferably toning and moisturizing after to lock in moisture, no need to wipe it off

Can this be used after a workout?

Yes- I keep mine in the refrigerator and keep it really cold and take it with me when I need it, Stays very cool. Very refreshing, although I don't use it nearly as often as I thought I would.
