It's not 'crinkly' sounding, sits evenly on the mattress, is well made. Would have given it five stars if the sides had also been waterproof material. For people who are worried about "accidents" in bed, the sides are not a factor. For those of us with cats who occasionally 'spray', the sides of a mattress also need protection.
