Matches the full size kit perfectly
I’ve used the Ekopel touch-up kit along with the tub refinishing product, and it worked great for what I needed it for. The color matched the existing finish perfectly, and it hardened well without any issues. The touch-up blended in nicely with the existing finish and didn’t leave an obvious difference in color or texture once it was finished. It’s nice to have something like this available for the occasional small repair instead of having to redo the entire tub. We’ve had good results with the Ekopel system overall, and based on my experience with the touch-up kit, I’d definitely keep one on hand for future projects.

Fulfills it's claims, very good and would recommend.
Great product, no Odie Yeah! This size is adequate enough to cover the complete bottom of a standard sized tub, this is where there was significant wear after 28 years of use. Very happy with this product This size is a repair kit, small size and does not come with the tools that come with the larger size. I used credit card sized stuff cardboard to distribute evenly, also used a fine 3" paintbrush fir the finishing detail. Be careful though, the brush shed one bristle/hair, it was a nightmare to remove. If you use a brush I recommend you have a pair of tweezers close by.

Kitchen sink refinishing
Used this product to refinish a 27 year old composite sink that was stained and rough. There was very little instruction with the product except how to mix the two parts. Preparation of the surface, how to apply it, drying time and clean up was all guess work. It is the consistency of too thick paint, is time consuming to apply and difficult to apply evenly. It is a chemical compound, not like paint. Having said that, the end product was better than hoped for. The finish is a gloss enamel and looks great. Eliminated the need to replace sink and counter top. The longevity of the product is yet to be determined. Would definitely use again.

Not ready for prime time
I used this to coat a cast concrete vanity top. The top was cured and dried, and primed per Ekopel's tech support. I've done a tub with this stuff with OK results, but this was a mess. I mixed it for the full instructed time by hand - when I poured it, it was full of weird, dried-up bits of the product, like little strings and globs. It wasn't something from the cast concrete, I poured some on glass and got the same mess. I tried picking the stuff out with a needle, but there were hundreds of solid bits in there. The bits were hard and solid, they couldn't be squished or mixed. So I just laid it on extra thick, let it cure overnight, and sanded it with 400 (orbital) to level the mess (it dried like sandpaper with those gritty pieces looking like white acne), then wet-sanded with a block and finer grades, finally buffed it with compound. So some serious grunt work, but I did get the bright white top I imagined. It seems like there's some serious quality control problems, this wasn't an issue of improper mixing, but of some aspect of the product being contaminated or something. If the weird dried up junk wasn't in there, it would have been a fairly easy gig, and my previous Ekopel didn't have that issue. So something was way off with the kit I received.
