Best bang for the buck
I'm a mechanic at a dealership and have been using this daily for a year now and I'm very impressed with how its holding up. I recommend these to all the other mechanics I work with. Works just as good as the power probes but at a fraction of the price.

AWESOME TOOL!!!!!!
The tester came in a cardboard outer case and carry handle. Once removed you will find a hard-plastic case that holds the tester unit and the accessories.First LookLooking at the unit you see how well it looks and some of the nice design features it has with the color screen and the removable probe along with a massive 20ft extension cable. It has all the connections you need, Direct from the battery or from the included lighter socket adapter.First useThe unit was powered by the lighter socket and booted up into the menu in a second. You are presented with a nice clear color display and 4 menu options at the top of the screen. The unit has 2 led's on the top of it giving you some light to work with. You select the menu option with the round menu button on the device. The menu runs through the following settingsDC Voltage, AC Voltage, Resistance and DiodeJust press the menu button until you see the correct screen. With the probe in DC Voltage it allows you to read the DC Voltage of a circuitThe AC Voltage does the same but for AC VoltageThe Resistance mode enables you to check the resistance between the tip and the Aux ground Lead.In this mode you can check the voltage drop from positive to negative on a diodeI used the probe to check a polisher tool that was not working right and needs a new trigger switch .I connected the Aux cable from the probe to the negative on the white wire and touched the tip to the positive black, this allowed me to check the resistance for the variable switch. It told me the switch was bad and not changing the resistance.A quick two-minute task is completed with the tester saving a lot of time and effort. Great tool for checking for broke wires on any vehicle.

Impressed by Performance
I've been fooling around with this for several weeks now. I have a '68 GTO that I have had for 25 years that is in a total restoration. The first thing I wanted to test was it's accuracy. I tested my battery and got a reading of 12.4 volts which matches what my voltmeter says. I am having problems with the horn so I tested the relay and found it to be hot so that told me the problem was in the steering wheel. I was also able to verify that my windshield wiper motor was dead and it wasn't a problem in the wiring leading up to it. What I like is that you can hook it up to the battery and the cord is long enough to reach around, comfortably, to the tail lamps to work on them. I admit to being a novice at using one of these and it showed when I pressed power on the V200 while on a hot wire. This tripped the circuit breaker in the V200 so nothing was damaged. For the price this is a good product.

Handy tool
Not the top of the line tool but it does all the basic trouble shooting. Great tool for the price. The storage case should be larger. It works as advertised.

Easy to use
This is my first time using a tool like this. Been using it for the past month now on several vehicles. Checks voltage/amperage like a multi meter but can also apply power to actuate components that need battery power. Great for troubleshooting. A tool that saves a lot of time. Ive been able to trouble shoot faulty fuel pumps, window motors, power seats and door locks. However i dont think it can be used on high amperage circuits like a starter. I havent tried powering a starter but dont think it was designed to apply high current. Wish I had this tool when I worked at a shop. No longer work at a shop but still work on a lot of friends and family vehicles. Highly recommended.

Diagnosed my crank-no-start mystery
My '98 Jeep Wrangler would crank, but not start. I wasted time, labor and money replacing parts to no success. Changed strategy. OBD-II scanners wouldn't connect w/ the PCM (computer brain) and it became my main suspect. PCM problems are difficult to diagnose because it's the components whose job it is to tell you that there's a problem, and if it's dead, well, you have another problem. I hesitated to spend more money on a PCM without being sure, so I bought my first "Power probe" to test the electrical system. After hours of poking away at wires and components, I was finally able to reasonably diagnose that my PCM was dead and ordered a replacement. New PCM installed, Jeep started right up and is running great. This was my first time using this kind of tool and it saved me the necessity of towing my dead Jeep to a shop to spend even more money having a pro diagnose my problem. I feel empowered. The VDiagtool probe is a great addition to my tool box.

Awesome electrical diagnosis tool for a very reasonable price
Overall it's simple to use its got your mode button and your rocker switch allowing you to either give something 12 volt power or if it's ground side controlled you can also power it that way screen brightness could be a little better it does come with both alligator clamps or an auxiliary cord to power from your cars auxiliary port in your cab it also comes with a very long extension cord which you easily move around your whole car no trouble at all although it's not as durable feeling or logistically enclined as your few hundred dollar power probe for the 60 bucks your going to pay your definitely able to check for continuity find bad or open grounds power any of your electronically controlled parts of your car overall a great buy
