I bought this holster for my wife's Kimber Micro 9. I love that the holster is so versatile. I've carried it when taking my wife out to dinner wearing nice clothes, I've carried it wearing my gym clothes and I've found that it is really comfortable. I think the fit is snug enough that my wife can just throw it in her purse and not have to worry about it escaping and getting lost forever in the black hole that is my wife's purse. The gun fit in the holster beautifully and you can see that some craftsmanship went into the making of it. I like the position of the metal clip when carrying IWB, its high on the holster so that the grip gets down close to your belt line so it doesn't print so bad. The only downside to this is that it takes some practice to get comfortable with getting the gun out in a hurry due to the guns small size. I didn't want to get a kydex holster because the gun is too pretty and I want to avoid holster wear for as long as I can. Also, with most kydex holsters that I have the clip is further down making the gun ride high. Fine if you are wearing loose fitting clothes, but not fine if you are wearing a schmedium sized shirt and trying to show off all your hard work from the gym. Some reviews said the holster was bulky and I don't find that to be the case. I have another leather holster, made by someone else, that I bought for my G43x and I will be replacing it with one from 1791. As far as the Micro 9 itself I think its a wonderful little carry option. Lots of rounds through it and not a single problem. I've shot Winchester white box, 124gr Gold Dots, some mystery ammo that I found in a plastic bag and 147gr Winchester Ranger. It gobbled them all up.I hope that this review helps you make a decision on the holster (or the Micro 9).Have a wonderful day.

This is a high quality well made holster. Fits my Browning 1911-22 like a glove!

It comes a little stiff, but that's to be expected. It fits like a glove and the leather is beautiful and of great quality. A little different colored than expected but not an issue.A family member was a regional manager for one of the biggest leather factories in the northeast and said this quality is quite similar to the kits police officers would buy to replace the holster given to them after they graduate. The instructions for breaking it in are the same way they would break theirs in as well. All in all it is an incredible value with legitimate quality leather. I have no doubts it will hold up as long as the gun does.

This holster is very well made. The quality of the leather and the craftsmanship are exquisite . The Vintage finish makes for a handsome accessory for my stainless steel 1911. The draw is smooth after a couple days of breaking in so be patient. My only gripe with this holster is that it can be a bit bulky when worn IWB as compared to other IWB-only holsters. IMO, that's the tradeoff for having the versatility of a 4-way holster. I wouldn't recommend it for true concealment unless you want to be printing like an inkjet! Otherwise, it's a great holster.

First thing first, my initial order arrived in an EMPTY unopen zip bag. Reach out to Amazon for the return and go the replacement with in a few days. As for the holster, it is an amazing quality and fits VERY well. For sure I will get another holster for my other guns.

When you slip your Ronin EMP into this holster, there's that look of it that's just... it's just gorgeous. I've had this for a few weeks and have had it properly broken in. I used it for an action range exam at my gun club and it did well as OWB. I want to love this holster. I really do. But most my gun belts will not hold this extremely thin IWB clip. I dryfire often. Everyday I draw from appendix and try to improve on speed. I'd say 3 out of ten draws, that holster is coming right off the belt and its staying on the gun. I would not trust my life to this holster. You need a very, very thin leather belt. I've tried two tactical belts, one being the "We the People" thin-line belt, hoping it would be thin enough for this clamp to hold onto. This holster just does not clamp onto it well. I'm in the market for a good, decent holster now that will stay attached to my belt when I draw my gun for obvious reasons. But damn, the thing is gorgeous, though.

Fit my 1911U perfectly. Good quality material. Might be a little snug at first but follow simple instruction's for breaking it in and 15 min later you’ll have perfect fit. This holster is for officer/compact 1911. Highly recommend
