Q: I put oil in the middle, let absorb for 30mins and put on. Leaked in the bed and stained the bottom sheet. Any suggestions?

The longer you use it the more absorption it will have . I store mine in a ziplock bag on a dark place. At the end of the week I wash it. Also when you use heat on top of it, it will absorb faster. Hope this helps!

Q: Do you have to oil it every time you use it?

I oil every time, just not that much, use in moderation.
