I picked this up when I started college to prep for recruiting and it has helped me a lot. It prepared my very well for interviews and gives me specific and directly applicable insight. It really covers everything and explains it in a easy to understand manner.

I actually like this book and think it is quite excellent. I think the discussion is pretty clear and covers the basics really well. In my opinion, however, this new edition is not significantly different from the second edition. This does not mean the material was not updated, but the important fundamental things you could learn from this book do not appear to be materially different than the prior editions.
