USEFUL AND FUN TO USE PRODUCT
Great product and good value. I started with smoked salmon and then pork loin before going onto barbeque sauces. Easy to use. Some good recipes in the enclosed brochure and the smoker is well made.

Smoke your own.
One of the best bits of kitchen I have bought for a longtime. It does an excellent job of smoking your food with little or no smell of smoke. It comes with two sample container of wood chips. I’m not a fan of shop bought smoked salmon but love it smoked from this smoker with no fishy after taste. Excellent.

Great Piece of Kit
I bought this for my Partner for Christmas, so far we have cooked the most perfect Smoked Salmon, Prawns and Mushrooms. Our Mushrooms were looking a little sorry for themselves, so we Smoked them back to life, very delicious indeed.Perfect Present for People who Love to cook.Easy to Clean. We didn't have any problems with smoke in the kitchen, maybe some people just put too much Wood or the Temperature is too High.

Good, but not great
I thought small size would be adequate for me but it is actually tiny and you'll only realise this when you first attempt to load it. Also, it should seal better to stop smoke escaping, I had to wrap it in a few layers of foil to stop the whole house from reeking. Needs refinement in a Mark 2 version, really.

mini stove top smoker
Excellent product and just the right size for cooking for one or two people.Supplied with three samples of wood chips - as you only use a small amount per 'smoke' these will last a very long time.Smoker has been used on a gas hob, so took on a rather blackened look on the outside after only a couple of uses, but this seems perfectly reasonable and does not detract from function.Have tried chicken (very juicy), salmon (yum!) and king prawns (very yum!!) and all turned out wonderful. You are left with an interesting smell in the kitchen for a day or so after use though...

An earlier smoke experience had not been a happy one. But when I saw the mini smoker ...
This is an event where hope did triumph over experience. An earlier smoke experience had not been a happy one. But when I sawthe mini smoker I took another chance, and I am glad I did. It gives the food a completely different flavour and even texture. The smoker is easy to use, and the cookbook is very welcome. A small point: could we have a cookbook with mini recipes for the mini smoker? Downsizing the quantities is a bit of a challenge. The smoker arrived promptly and was well packed. Definitely a great addition to my kitchen.

Good result
Since purchasing this item I have used it just once. I smoked some salmon and trout fillets and the result was excellent and look forward to smoking more fish and meat in the future.

An impulse purchase that turned out to be awesome fun in the long run.
I did not expected to use it this much. Really I bought it more out of an impulse and thought of it as a little joke and fun project.... but then i caught myself spending a whole weekend trying out different things to smoke and in different recipes.I would say that money was well spend and I keep using it on a regular basis. The only things I regret is that I didn't bought the bigger model and that I didn't started to use aluminium foil to keep it clean right from the beginning. The sawdust is turning into a black mess and is hard to clean, even worse is the oil that comes out of the food. So what I do now is I put the sawdust on a sheet of aluminium foil and fold it two times (leaving it open on the sides) so that it doesn't get in contact with the smoker but the smoke can easily escape of the cushion. Also I use some aluminium foil under the gridiron to keep the juice under control. Both is just 5 seconds more work but makes it far more easier to clean up.Also keep in mind that Hickory is quiet strong, so if you want to smoke Hallumi or other things you might better go with Sweet Chestnut or Apple or Cherry.
