Awesome, removes the material efficiently

We got goats, well my wifes got goats and I help trim the hoves of these stinky monsters. I want to get in and out quickly before I get butted or catch a horn in the groin, but I want to do a good job too. After snipping the big stuff, this file really helps smooth jagged areas quickly so they look pretty. I was supprised that it had such smooth action, even on the rough side! Boom, job is done and I can get on the other side of the fence where I belong feeding them treats!

This short animal hoof file is a great value product. I like the weight as I have arthritic hands so it's easy to handle. Works great on my Llama, my wild burro and for my mare. Fits better in grooming bags than those heavy longer ones and the handle on this file comfortable fit in my hand.

We sent back the first one and got a replacement, because it was so dull it was like running a piece of sandpaper over the hooves. Sadly, the second one is just as dull.Sits--brand new--in the hoof tool bag unused. I had hoped it would be the perfect solution for our pony, as his short legs are so close to his body the longer rasp is difficult to use without bumping his tum.
