Renovator 50ml Jar with Polishing Cloth

Hadn't heart of this brand but the reviews talked me into it. This is a really lovely polish, quite fluid which is good as the leather soaked it up, needed clear to nourish and clean my handbags., some tradition, others that were yellow and green. Even used on a silver metallic bag with good results. This did the job beautifully, very quick to use, cleaned off some marks with a bit of effort, little time before buffing and my bags all looked so much better afterwards. Price is good if it saves leather bags you love and are expensive, polishing cloth included so a bonus. Quick delivery too.

Looking for a product to bring back life to a handbag and leather belts. I've used Saphir polishes before and have been happy with their effectiveness, so I thought I'd try this renovator. The cream has the consistency of mayonnaise (and is about the same colour), but this makes it easy to spread and work into the leather on the bag and my belts. I found it had a light, pleasant smell, a bit beeswax-y/honey, and seemed to be absorbed into the leather quickly, making it feel much more supple. After applying and rubbing in thoroughly with the supplied cloth, I hung up the belts to let them air dry before putting them away. (a coat hanger, intended for belt storage is ideal for this purpose).

This restoration creme is reviewed consistently as one of the best. Suitable for not only shoes but all leather items. It cleans and restores well, BUT!! This product contains some turpentine (not much). If you have leather items with applied finishes which give an appearance or effect, rather than just black or brown basic finish. This can start to clean additional finishes off. It will try to clean the leather and nourish it. Do your research before using. It's a great product on the correct leather.

Saphir Renovateur is a great product for all leather items. The cream applies easily & works very well once buffed properly. It dries and sets quite quickly, so brisk buffing needs to begin soon after application. When used correctly, it restores leather beautifully and leaves a rich satin sheen that makes items look brought back to life. It can pull off a small amount of excess colour from leather during use, which is fairly common with conditioning & restoring products like this. Overall though, the results are excellent and the finish looks premium. Brilliant product.

I have been freshening up som leather shoes that I haven’t worn for years. This brings them back to life for minimum effort. It’s the best thing you can put on your leather shoes.

This stuff is amazing. Took all the watermarks, stains, scrapes, scuffs, black marks off my white and yellow leather shoes. I had no idea this would work so well. The leather is soft and clean now. It doesn’t smell, isn’t sticky. It’s like a cream I would use on my own skin. Super impressed. And a little goes a long ways.

For 3 years now I have been using Saphir Renovateur for my Red Wing (all natural leather) Iron Ranger boots (in Copper Rough and Tough). My only regret is that I didn’t discover and so use it sooner. Firstly, this is a colourless cream, and it certainly has a neutral effect, so if colour is what you wish to alter then this cream will be ineffective for you. Otherwise, if you’re new to leather care, or concerned about ruining your leather’s natural dye or appearance, then I want to reassure you at once, that this product is safe. By applying it, copiously or sparingly, you will surely not affect the intrinsic colour of your leather skin, be it boot, bag or belt. No indeed, this is a gentle and friendly cream. Though, if you should notice a difference in appearance then it’ll rather be in value and vibrancy, with the final result being a far richer and slightly darker tone. (All leather will darken with moisture content, this is unavoidable and has nothing to do with a change in colour.) Watch intently as you apply your first layer of cream, consider how well it absorbs upon the surface: nourishing, cleansing, and working from within to make your leather feel healthy, supple, and moist. There is pleasure to be had as you go on feeding new life and strength into your leather. With this product you are not only increasing your leather’s strength and resilience, but, equally, you are relaxing and relieving it of any stress and tension built up through ware and tear. This would be particularly true if your leather, like mine, is a smooth skin, and coloured copper or bronze; true enough, if left alone after a soapy scrub, like mine it’ll dry a crispy, sandy, burnt beige. (Just see the contrast from the pictures I’ve attached). (When I first got my boots, I left it 6-9 months before oiling or any care, until I noticed splitting and flaking on the sides of the boot. I thought this was how natural leather ages over time. But no sooner did I learn online, that I realised I should be oiling, than I turned to my saving grace…Saphir’s Renovateur, because it worked so perfectly to restore my boots to their original glory). Anyhow, once you’ve used the Saphir Renovateur you may wish to add some added sheen by polishing. Try yourself a few minutes of brushing back and forth with a fine horse hair or polisher cloth. And to your pleasure this cream will even enhance the degree of glow and reflection. Just see my short video time-lapse, which I’ve attached, and you can judge for yourself! Overall, for almost £10, this is an excellent choice and a fantastic product, an effortless and highly effective cream - it even smells nice - while it leaves behind you a clean and pleasant aroma, which refreshes not just the body but the soul. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic product very high premium quality product it not only nourishes the leather but also helps clean leather too Helps against drying out of leather moisturises deeply and helps provide a good starting base for beginning polishing yes it’s only a small jar but you do get a cloth to apply the renovator with and a little goes a long way Very happy with this product def ain’t cheap but it is worth it to look after your leather goods

En cuánto al cuidado del zapato Saphir es de lo mejor. Utilizan, entre otros productos, cera de abeja por lo que el producto no sólo queda protegido sino también brillante y embellecido. A la hora de escoger y proteger el calzado, aunque más caro que otros, no hay que dudarlo. Esta es sin duda la mejor elección.
