All too often the peppercorns available locally are old and lack the pizzaz these Sichuan Peppercorns have. All who share the meals I cook are impressed with the little flavor explosions happening in their mouth, too. Wonderful product!

Product seems fine but someone used a sharp blade and cut through the packaging all the way to the bag of dried peppers. No harm but the self sealing bag was ruined.

NPG means quality! Best source of hard to find Asian spices and ingredients. NPG has it all check their store out to find everything you can’t find at your grocery store!

These are very nice Szechuan chili peppers for stir fries. If there was any downside, it would be the size of the peppers themselves which were very small. I adjusted very easily by just increasing the number of peppers used in the stir fry! For example when making kung pao chicken, I use 10 peppers to provide a medium amount of heat. Of course you could always crush or break up one of the peppers, but I prefer to keep them whole. Great for experienced Chinese cooks.
