20 Pack Cardboard Block Brick Set (12x6x3) USA Made!

These are excellent bricks. Super rugged. My son stands on them and skis around the house. They are SO excellent that both my kids yell and fight over who has more. Which is just as awesome as it sounds. I bought two sets (40 blocks) and the kids can build some pretty neat forts, pretend cars, etc. Takes about 20 minutes to put together a set. They come flat-packed. All the blocks were pre-creased so it was quick to construct. Pro-tip: You can cut up the box they come in and use it as a roof!

I had similar blocks to these 30 years ago for my kids, and they just loved them. They played with them every day, building forts, furniture, whatever their imagination came up with. They're one of the best toys ever. The bricks back then had a waxy-type laminate that gave them grip-ability. Recently, I ordered a set of Mondo Bloxx for a toddler friend and was disappointed to see that they're simply paper over cardboard, with no laminate, so they are slippery with no grip, and they slide out from underneath themselves when stacked. Unfortunately, it seems that other companies are making their building bricks like this as well. I wanted to keep these, for they are sturdy and strong, so I googled how to laminate paper, and one answer was to use "tape". With the bricks unfolded and lying flat, I loaded a tape gun with a roll of crystal-clear packing tape, and laminated the bricks, smoothing out the tape with the edge of a credit card. I didn't laminate the cardboard that folds-up inside the brick, so it was pretty easy to do. The bricks folded great, and they look great. Now the bricks have super grip-ability! To address the issue some people are reporting of color rubbing off on hands, laminating will solve that problem as well. I highly recommend these bricks once laminated, for your kids will enjoy them for years to come.

GREAT SET! Great size, great number of blocks so you can actually make things with them and knock them down. I love how this kit only has the larger blocks. The smaller ones become nuisances.. more to store and not used as much. A great toy for independent play, group play and also great way to teach counting thing they love (blocks in formation) and to practice prepositions (under, over, through, on, off, beside, etc..) while playing with them with other objects too. No age tires of these.

These are great! I used them when I taught “The Cask of Amontillado” with my 8th graders and the kids thought they were cool. They are very durable and still look brand new. They were pretty easy to put together, but kids under 10 would probably have trouble. They do take a while to put together. If I had to do 40 by myself, It wouldn’t be fun.

My husband always says "forget the toys, give the kids a cardboard box and they'll be happy." This is a compromise, the mondo bloxxs are 20 sturdy cardboard boxes. They take about 20 minutes to put together once you get the hang of it, and they provide hours of fun. I love creative toys and these bloxxs are the epitome of a creative toy. My kids use them in all sorts of senerios; building forts, doll houses, roads, towers, and walls. They don't take up as much room as I thought they would, but might not be a great fit in a small room/house because they are large. My only critique is that they are slippery when stacked. My kids keep stacking them to sit or stand on and they always slip out from under them, not a big deal but better grip would be nice. Overall we're happy with the bloxxs.

What can I say about these blocks right here? Other then they are awesome!! I shopped around, read product descriptions, and customer reviews before making a purchase on these blocks. I'm sure nostalgia also played a key part in my decision making too☺. My girls (2 & 4) LOVE them. For easy clean up and access we stack them in a large blue IKEA bag, but a nice size plastic tub would work well too. I even had fun playing with them!! Thumbs up. And it's a nice size set with all big blocks. Quick and easy to assemble. The girls were waiting with bated breath for another block to be done. When they were all done they played for hours. Great value for a nice developmental toy!

Reordering these blocks because they are so great! I’ve had these blocks for about 3.5 years and they have been heavily played with. Ages 0 and up have enjoyed these blocks. Building, steeping on, sitting on, jumping off and they have withstood it all! I also love that I can recycle them because they are cardboard. Also that if they get thrown around no one needs to be rushed in for stitches.

These are the best blocks we have found. I bought them for my own children nearly thirty years ago and just bought two sets for my grandson. They are lightweight and indestructible ! But the directions are terrible. We had a heck of a time putting them together—very frustrating
