Good quality and includes everything for the repair
This joystick replacement kit for the PS5 controller worked great for me. It comes with 6 analog sticks and the screwdrivers needed to complete the repair—no extra tools required. The joysticks are compatible with the DualSense controller and feel responsive after installation. I was able to fix two controllers that had stick drift, and now they work like new.Installation takes a bit of patience, but if you follow an online guide, it’s totally doable at home.Great option for anyone looking to repair their controller instead of buying a new one.

Solid kit - first time fix and new potentiometers work great
Normally I don't give a 5, but I can't complain about this kit. Got really tired of having to fix the drift by opening up the controller, bending back the potentiometers, and cleaning them. First it was cleaning them once a year, then once every couple of months. Then after the 5th cleaning, the right controller would not move all the way to the left even though the stick is all the way there.Instead of replacing both gimbals assemblies, I just bent back the four potentiometers and replaced them. Works great, no drift. (I will come back to edit this review if the controllers start drifting again).Anyone who does this fix needs to make sure they have:- Flux- Solder/Solder Gun (30W)- Solder Wick- Isopropyl Alcohol - for cleaning up the fluxPro Tip: The PS5 factory solder has a rather high melting point compared to the stuff you bought for this project. I'm not into heat guns or that solder sucker tool.1. Bend the old potentiometers back and forth until they snap off.2. Drop a dab of flux on the solder point.3. Cut a piece of wick and coat it in Flux.4. Apply wick on top of point and heat with gun.5. Repeat 1 through 4.6. Occasionally re-solder the point - I know this is counter-intuitive but your solder will "mix" with the original solder and will actually make the wick more effective.7. Eventually the remaining piece will wiggle and you can pull it out with the tweezers8. Be patient.Good: The screw driver is slightly magnetic which is nice for pulling out the screws. The tweezers are fairly hefty!

Great Set!
This is a great set given all the tools they include. The potentiometers are the exact same as the ones in my controller. You get extra thumb pads (not really needed but nice to have). The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was the tweezers are nice but need to have slightly larger pads as they do not help with pulling out the ribbon cables. Great for a small splinter though, LOL. I had to use my small needle nose plyers to get the ribbon cables off and on. Also, I installed a new assembly as my issue I was having was stick drift to the left. After replacing the whole assembly the issue is corrected but I have ever so slight drift now to the upper right if looking at a map on HellDivers II. My character does not move nor does the my curser move if I am in the main menu like it did before replacing only if I am looking at the map so I am satisfied. One side note, if you plan on unsoldering and soldering these in, I highly recommend using a good heat gun as the pads are double sided and a soldering iron just doesn't get it hot enough to melt the solder on both sides. I struggled using just my adjustable soldering station to get the old ones out. I also used solder wick and a solder sucker but ended up tearing a small run when removing the pot. Wasn't an issue since it just tied the two legs of the R3 switch together which the run on the opposite side did as well.

Surprisingly awesome!
This is an unexpectedly nice kit. The joystick hardware is indistinguishable from the OEM parts (if, indeed, they are not in fact the same as the OEM parts). The three tools included (screwdriver, metal spudger, and ultra-fine-point tweezers) are retail quality and a far cry from the disposable tools that come with most kits. Even the extras such as the thumb pads and joystick hats are great. And the kit includes a baggie of screws, which is a thoughtful addition.I was able to fix my drifting stick by replacing the wipers and cleaning the beds with alcohol, so I didn't need to actually replace the joystick mechanism. The other stick hadn't started acting up yet, but I did the same procedure on that one. The controller is back to like-new condition and works great.

Not the same as PS5?
The circular thin metal rails are not the same as what is in a PS5 controller. I ended up just cleaning mine without replacing to avoid having to take it apart again.See photo on the difference. Left side rail is the replacement part. Right side is from the original controller. The rectangle opening for the stick also seemed too small.

Great kit. Fixed stick drift issue
Great kit! Tools are not toss aways like most kits. And as long as you have solder braid and flux you should be good to go. I used low melt solder to help in removal of old joy stick but not totally needed. Fixed my stick drift issue.

Nice kit
My PS5 controller had a broken thumbstick and a small but annoying drift. This kit solved both and I'm pretty happy with it. The thumbstick replacements are nice and good quality. Thankfully I only needed to replace the wiper of the potentiometer but that fixed my drift issue. The included tools are actually going to replace the ones I was using, as I prefer them. Plus the little rubber thumbstick protectors (where my thumbstick broke) are a small but nice addition. Would recommend to anyone wanting to repair their own controllers instead of buying new.

Last only 3 weeks
It take me a lot of time to change this as expected. But the product only last 3 weeks. I have replaced the same potentiometer at least 4 times and last 1 or 2 weeks each. The drift is insane even thought I calibrate the controls every time. Do yourself a favor and search better quality product
