Second Time even better
04/26/25 This is my second time reading this story, I read it when it first came out, but forgot to leave a review. I was reading one of Marie Rose newer books and decided to reread this series, I’m glad I did now I can leave a review. This story had me on edge, wonder would Conner’s dad Patric rape Beauty. Patric was straight up sick and evil, so of the crap he did made me cringe. But Conner, now that I think about it makes me think of a 2025 Joker, now if Beauty would act like Harley Quinn, then we have a great story for a movie featuring a Black Harley Quinn. This was a great read, the sex scene had me squeezing my thighs together, if and when I read it again I need to have a partner to scratch my itch.

Really enjoying this series, but noticed there were a lot of typos. Hope part 3 is better with some spell check.

When I say I can’t stand this lady, she out here got me sobbing over a damn book and some fictional characters. Girl don’t ever in ur life do me like this again

Ok this book was so good! The last few chapters took me out, I literally cries. Patric O’Shea got what he deserved and then some. This is hands down one of the best series I’ve read. I think Connor’s mom is somehow involved. Immediately on to book 3 for confirmation!

Crying is what you gotten me
Ms. Marie I tell you and I’ll say it again. Reading this book again but in a different way after you finish rewriting and adding more into this book of the The Irish Don’s Black beauty. Girl I was crying so hard and i never get over this book and how much you have done . Such improvement, your different nominal it has shown a lot of what you have put your heart and soul into this book. This book was hands-down good just as it was when you first did it. Amazing book, can’t stop crying. And I cannot wait to read part three

5 stars because I love you girl.. but.
I am in confusion. I bought the originally book 1 been waiting for book 2 for years.Now there is a new book one and two and I ain’t mad at it HOWEVER can I just finish their story again? Where can I find book 2 of the original book? Idc how much it cost. I’ll buy it. I’ve read this book over and over since Wattpad it’s legit my FAVORITE book in the world. Each book always stops when beauty is kidnapped and the aftermath. I’m crying real tears baby girl. 😭😭😭 I just wanna complete my collection.Now…… I love how this book gives more insight on this that were not fleshed out before. Book 3 comes out in June but it’s not the ending of Connor and beauty? Or is it? I just need to know!!!!Congrats on the updated books. Happy new year.

Intoxicating Read
From start to finish, Rose Marie had me on a whirlwind of emotions that I can’t even begin to understand or work through. Each chapter left you wanting to know more about what was going to happen next, that even thinking about setting the book down seemed more and more unlikely.While my love for this series is strong, I can’t help but notice the vast amount of grammatical errors that could’ve easily been fixed. Not sure if it all got lost in the broken English, but it’s very apparent when reading the narration of other characters.Otherwise, I enjoyed the plot and hopefully we will have answers to the question we are left asking, ‘Where is Kahlani?’
