Q: I am treating a sore nipple from breast feeding with these - how thoroughly do I need to wash it off before a feed? is with soap recommended?

I think a thorough wash with soap and water and good rinsing would be sufficient, but I would check the labelling for any substances that could be potentially harmful if accidentally ingested.

I haven’t tried Jelonet on a leg ulcer- but they were very soothing on a burn on my foot. It healed beautifully

Hi this is what I used them for! I cut the gauze into 4 so they go further & ideal size for the nipple. Just put one on after a feed (use a breast pad cos they are a bit messy) & make sure to currently clean it off before feeding again.

Q: How well would these work under your arm? Are they sticky enough that they would stay in place with movement in an awkward place like the armpit?

I wouldn't recommend that, it is maybe sticky enough because it's like vaslene but it's meant to be covered by gauze. Hope this helps.
