Makes a great gift!
I ordered this item as a Christmas gift for my parents. It comes in a sleek black box and the opener itself is elegant and beautiful looking! I also love that it includes the foil cutter. Will make a great gift. And the shipping was so super fast!

Do not recommend due to plastic components failing.
I've been very disappointed in this wine opener since the beginning. The opener is elegant looking, however the portion that rests upon the glass bottle top is made of plastic. The pressure required to pull down on the arms quickly broke the inside plastic piece. Even before the inside components broke, the connection with the bottle left too much wiggle room to ensure a straight and consistent downward pressure on the corkscrew. Now that the internal component has broken the bottle opener is essentially useless.

Beautiful set.
Great looking set! Looks more expensive than priced. Packaged in a nice box perfect for gifting. Easy to use and the foil cutter was extremely handy.

Impressive item and package. Bought it as a gift, but had to try it out first. The "foil cutter" was a pleasant, functional and unexpected bonus.Sturdy opener. Heavy enough to do the job easily, without being too bulky. It's probably just me, but I've always been challenged when trying to open a wine bottle. This one not only looks good, it works even better, plus the box gives it a real touch of class. Got to order my own now!

Broke on second use
The corkscrew looks nice and feels good but is poorly made. There is a plastic ring in the bottom and the ring is what presses against the top of the bottle. The plastic ring broke on our second use - the whole thing kind broke out so that nothing contacted the lip of the bottle. The screw was all the way into the cork and it separated from the handle when I tried to back it out. Very disappointed given the other great reviews. Returned the item.

Quality wine opener...GREAT VALUE!!!
I found this corkset set to be very easy to use unlike many that I have struggled with. It is solidly constructed and is packaged beautifully!! It is priced very well for the quality it is. I am going to order 2 more of these sets as Christmas gifts!
