Fantastic compressor
Considering the price, this pedal does a fantastic job. It sounds as good as my Empress compressor which costs four times as much. Transparent, not noisy, compact and simple.

Very competent compressor
This compressor works well enough, they are simple things at heart so you get what you would expect. The controls allow you to use this as a boost if needed, and it can do the subtle note bloom thing too. Great value for money, can recommend this pedal.

Good, easy to use and nice and small, good price
I think it's great. The power socket on side which isn't ideal for me, most pedals have it at top. Bit noisy when used with overdrive but that's common with this kind of pedal as it boosts quiet notes but also quiet noise gets boosted aswell. I like the fact it remembers it's state, when it gets power again, so don't need to keep turning it on each time, I want it as a always on pedal to even out volume across playing and help those quieter notes to cut through. Seems to do a good job, the extra sustain is a nice bonus, nice professional sound.

It a kind of always on pedal in a good way
A very easy to use compressor that can just add a little bit of extra weight and sustain to the guitar. I bought it to use mainly on the electro acoustics and it does the job without adding any noticeable noise. It’s all metal, sturdy and has the ability to be battery powered if needed. Although you will need to remember to unplug the input whenever not in use if on battery. If not you will use a lot of batteries and as you need to unscrew it to replace them it’s not something you want to have happen unexpectedly.

My new best pedal!
Compression isn't instantly recognisable as a guitar effect like reverb, or chorus and at first it's difficult to hear what's going on. Normally we compensate or ignore variation in volume from individual guitar strings. The compressor takes the dry signal and makes the frequency response the same amplitude throughout the range. Also because it's working with the volume you can generate sustain. All of which means chords are more vibrant and single notes more precise, you appear a better player. What's not to like?!!There are 4 controls, Sustain is great, Level is necessary, but I'm not sold on Attack or Blend.Sustain is great. but be careful with single coil pickups, they can generate a LOT of noise as you turn up sustain. Humbuckers are better as by their nature they already have noise suppression, I can turn mine up to maximum.Level lets you set the output volume so when you switch the pedal in and out the volumes are the same, or not.Attack sets the compressor reaction time, short (anti clockwise) takes out some of the plectrum noise. I found set long (clockwise) I started to get momentary fluctuations in volume. I leave mine on short.Blend mixes your compression settings with the original dry signal, the smaller HyperGravity mini doesn't have the Blend knob which makes me wonder if I really need it?TonePrint is great on some of the other boxes, but a disappointing range of templates for this, all much the same.I would recommend anyone interested in a stomp box to check out the demos on U tube, however U Tube IS compressed already, so it's difficult to hear what's going on in the compressor vids!db

Finally got the sound I want!
Finally (after years of buying other pedals) decided to buy a compressor. Did my research and this came up with consistently excellent reviews. Also good value for money and I already knew that TC Electronic pedals are superb. Pedal is excellent and provides lots of options for varying sound, including x3 types of compression. Has talken my electro-acoustic sound to another level...I should've bought one years ago!

Super Product!
Strongly constructed, easy to use and Super Sound. Only one minor issue,- the unscrewing of four tiny screws -to replace battery, but not a problem . Good Purchase!!

Decent compressor pedal for the money
I bought this for a secondary, practice pedalboard. It is of course a digital compressor, which might put off some but the ad/da is good, you just don’t notice it.What you do notice is that sometimes there is a lag between moving the controls and the resulting sound, which I find a bit unsettling. All in all it’s a decent pedal if you’re not after a refined, upmarket compressor pedal.
