On the tire bead, Extra never hurts.

Does this product have an expiration date? Shelf life?

I do not believe so, but its one of those products that will thicken to the point of solid if you leave it open and do not close the lid all the way.

Tire shop used bead sealer on a tire that may have a deteriorating rim (Maybe), how long might the sealer last??

I would venture to say for the life of the tire (Use new bead sealer when installing the next tire after this one)...but I can't say 100%. I've never personally had any bead leaks between tire changes where the rim was cleaned with a wire wheel, and this was applied...
