I wanted a good quality handmixer, as I have had a series of mixers that have not lasted very long - even though I do not use a mixer that often. I have only used this new one a couple of times but I am impressed so far. The build quality seems very good. The mixer is not lightweight but I think that is a good feature. It feels strong and robust. It looks well designed and I like the retracting cable.Delivery took much longer than anticipated - several weeks - may have been the courier rather then the seller - but it arrived eventually and I am very pleased with it.

Bought as a replacement for my very old Philips hand mixer as beaters kept dropping out due to age!Very pleased with the Dualit as style very similar to other products in the range. Very modern looking. The mixer stands up on end when resting in use.As others have said the cord is very short but as it winds up inside the casing there is not much room to be any longer. Plus looks very neat and tidy this way as plug slots into end. Also the balloon whisk looks a bit flimsy but have yet to use that. I have used to mix up a batter and beaters ideal for purpose. A very good buy.

We bought this after using several cheaper models. This one is very solid and is clearly better made than the cheaper competition. The device can be stood on its end, which is a useful feature was not available with our older ones. The range of speeds is really useful and there is a genuinely slow speed. The cable tidy is good. It's not particularly lightweight, but that seems an advantage as it can be gripped and steadied easily. Our only issue so far is the small possibility of inserting the blades incorrectly, which the instructions warn against. Worth the extra money, we think.

Looks and feels good with great performance.Worth the extra money over cheap alternatives.Pity it’s made in China though.
