Really great little pack!!
Warning: long review I’ve had this pack for a year. Used it for hiking and day trips where I want my hands free or need to bring a bit more with me. It's also great for taking to the farmer's markets, it can hold a lot. I honestly really like this bag. It has all the right pockets, it’s a good size (not for overnight trips) and is lightweight. It’s held up really well with rips, stains or broken zipper after a LOT use in the desert, forest and beach environments. I'm rough on my day packs so I'm super impressed given how inexpensive this was. I fill the water water bag, throw in sunscreen, emergency clothing, maps, an extra bottle of water, a flashlight, an emergency kit, phone with extra battery, some personal items and food! It surprisingly holds it all and doesn’t feel too bulky or heavy. Sometimes I even put in water shoes. I find it very comfortable and well balanced for such an inexpensive pack. The bag is quick drying, not truly waterproof, but it doesn’t get soaked through right away in a light rain. I’ve had no issues with the water bag leaking and the mouthpiece works fine. It’s pretty easy to fill and clean, but all of these types of bags are a little awkward. The big name water bags have given me more problems than this one has. Although at this price? A year or two of use seems pretty reasonable. I, of course, have a few complaints. The first is my ONE BIG PET PEEVE about backpacks. The water bottle pockets are ‘almost’ big enough for my water bottles. I can manage shove one in there, but it’s really difficult. Impossible if the bag is full and I always like to carry extra water. This issue isn’t unique to this pack, all of the packs I have are the same. I don’t use the oversize bottles, just the normal insulated ones. WHY can’t they make the pockets just a half inch bigger so the bottle fit?? The second improvement I’d love to see is a key clip inside one of the compartments. Maybe the clip on the outside is intended to be for keys, but I wouldn’t have my keys dangling on the outside of my pack for the day. I use it for a retractable clip with a compass. A clip on the inside would be great so I don’t have to dump and search for my keys at the end of the day. I would have liked double zipper on all the compartments, only the large one has them. Finally, the strap material could be a bit softer, but this really feel like I'm almost finding something to complain about. I don’t notice it at all unless I’m in a sleeveless shirt. If you need a really good day pack for hiking or day trips, I don't think you can go wrong with this one.

All Seems Quality - Two Thumbs Up
Update: 9/10/25 I wore it for several hours, (in extreme heat and two days in rain) at a WEC race where I walked for miles and had no cover overhead (from sun or rain.) It did not disappoint. The water repellent bag in the zipper pouch on the very bottom is a great idea. Given the packs small size, you can load it up pretty good. The straps and padding and material are all excellent. It's comfortable even with a considerable load. The pack itself is light weight. There's a strap at the chest and one at the waist if you desire to use it. I found the waist one actually helped bear the weight. My original review (before using it) is below: I might come back to give it five stars, but I haven't used it yet. I've never had one of these (of any brand) so I can't compare it to anything else. The main thing, the bladder, is constructed well and rests in an insulated compartment, (as the description says.) I will be wearing/using it a lot at COTA in Austin TX in two weeks and if there's an issue it should show up then. The breathable straps and padding exceeded my expectations. There are other pouches or pockets to store other smaller items. In the largest pocket I can carry my foldable chair. Surprise! With the bladder (two-thirds full) and the chair the entire rig weighs 10 lbs. Not bad for hiking or longer walks. If you are a runner, you won't want to pack so much, certainly not a folding chair. The materials don't look/feel cheap. The attached straps (one at the waist too if you want it) are easily adjustable. I can see where it's lacking anything. We'll see, soon enough.

Small backpack with nice features!
Updated: After using this backpack for over a year, I upgraded its rating to 5 stars. I use this pack almost exclusively. It worked extremely well on two walking trips in Japan in 2024 and 2026. Having the hydration pack is great- mo having to fish around to retrieve a water bottle. 18L seems small, but it is amazing how much fits into this pack. I was looking for a smaller backpack for daytrips. I have a 40L Ecogear Snow Leopard pack that I LOVE but the company is no longer in business. So far I like this pack for the following reasons: 1) lightweight, but roomy. The main compartment is tall enough to hold my knee pad that I carry to yoga class. I can easily stuff my rain jacket and a down jacket or vest inside at the same time. 2) Built-in rain cover - one of the reasons I picked this bag over others of similar size: the rain cover is essential on multi-day hikes/walks to keep your gear dry. 3) 2L bladder - works well and it's nice to have the option of either shoulder to run the hose out of. 4) Comfortable shoulder straps - at first I thought this pack was too big for me (5'-1" tall) but I actually like having the shoulder straps away from my armpits - this means no chafing for long hikes and plenty of room to move my arms (I use trekking poles). Cons: Although you can use a bladder, sometimes you just need a water bottle! The side pouches are very small and it's difficult to fit wider bottles into them, but since there are no loops to hang trekking poles, I can see using the mesh pouches to hold the poles and running them through the outer straps. It also would be nice if every zipper was set up with two zippers - only the main pouch is set up this way. The hip strap is adequate, as the pack is small, but I would have liked a padded hip strap. Separately, I use a Boosteady camera bag that I attach to the sternum or hip strap to keep my phone handy for taking photos along the way. So far I have used the backpack for getting around the city; looking forward to trying it out on longer day hikes and taking it to Japan this coming October for a 7-day walk in Tohoku.

This bag can go anywhere
I was very impressed with the quality of this bag. There are many compartments for storage. Two side mesh holders for drinks, fits sunscreen or bug spray as well. There is a rain jacket for the bag on the inside bottom of the bag. It is very convenient to pull out and over bag and easy to put away. So far I have used this bag to hike, go to the beach, kids school field trip, sea glass hunt. It has held up well. The hydration pack itself is very very hard to dry out. This is the reason for only 4 stars. I have finally managed to get the pack dry but there is still residual water in the straw that won’t dry. My concern is mold and the hydration pack may be a one time use or back to back use. Overall, love the bag, the straps are padded, it buckled in front which gives a good snug fit for the climbs. The bag itself is lightweight and was not a burden to have on for many hours at a time.

Backpack great / Water bladder better
I love the color of this backpack and the many pockets. The water bladder design and straw are just awful. It's difficult to fill if you don't hold it just right because it doesn't open up to allow the water to flow into the bladder. You have to hold it open. It's difficult to get inside to wash it properly because the hole is too small. When I leave it on a rack to dry, I often come back, even days later and realize that water has accumulated on the bottom (top), meaning after I empty it again, it requires a good three more days to dry. The straw has had drops of water in it for almost a week, even after disconnecting the mouthpiece. Speaking of that, it's very difficult to get enough water per sip. It doesn't open enough. On my way back on my last hike, I couldn't get any water out, it felt blocked but I thought it might be empty. It was more than half full. I'm not sure what happened. Spend a little more money and get a good bladder. UPDATE: The day after I wrote this review, the seller wrote me a very nice note and offered to send me a newer version of the bladder that came with the pack. I was blown away by how kind they were and how honest and prompt. They said I would receive my new bladder by the 6th and I did. I have not tried the new bladder yet but the opening to fill it is larger and there is a cover over the straw so you can protect the part that goes in your mouth. They also suggested that I dry out the inside with a paper towel. I couldn't easily do that before since the opening was so small but I think I can now. Thank you!

Great Bag
This bag was great. We spent 7 hours in Zion and 4 hours in Bryce Canyon, and this was a terrific fit for our family.

Obsessed!
Bought this for my quest to explore state parks this year. The 2L bladder works great. If it seems to leak, give the tube a little twist where it meets the bladder and it tightens right up. I can fit water bottles in the side pockets, a dog bowl, phones, wallet, keys, snacks, tissues, and other small things needed for a good day on the trail. Love all the different sized zipper pockets, and can hook the dog leashes to the buckles on the side when I let the dogs run through the woods off-leash.

Buy it!!!
This is a great backpack! Super happy with it. It’s very comfortable and has tonnes of space and pockets. I really like how there’s a built in rain cover (haven’t had to use it yet). I initially thought the water bladder was faulty because it leaked where the straw connected, but it just wasn’t tightened enough! So make sure it’s fully fastened before you head out!

Vino con una parte derretida y residuos de plastico fundido; un pequeño detalle desagradable aunque en general la mochila se siente de buena calidad y tamaño
