I don't know as these were sent to a college student.

How are they shipped in a box? or one of those temperature control Styrofoam boxes I live in very hot Area

Mine was shipped in the big Amazon Pantry box with other pantry items. Only thing there might be is large bubble wrap. Not temperature controlled at all.

I've never received anything with damaged outside boxes. If it doesn't seem okay ask for a replacement or refund.
