I was skeptical, but now I'm a fan
I was skeptical about needing this product. For years we've used lemon juice or vinegar to clean the mineral deposits from the bottom heating plate of our electric tea kettle. But we moved to a place with lots more minerals in the water, and the old solutions weren't cutting it. Vinegar had to sit in the kettle for a long time to get all the white stuff out, and lemon juice didn't work at all. Searched for a solution and found this product. Comes from Europe, where tea kettles are a staple, so I figured it was worth a try. I was surprised by how fast it worked. Previously, we had to leave vinegar in the kettle for 10-20 minutes, and even then it didn't remove everything. And it smelled. This product worked in about 20-30 seconds and it removed every last trace of white scale. Seemed expensive, but just a small amount cleans the kettle, so per-use cost isn't bad. I figure this 25 oz bottle will last us at least a year, maybe two. I really like finding a product that does what it says it will do. This one does. Great solution if you make heavy use of an electric kettle with hard water. Exceeded my expectations.

Works great. Highly recommend
This stuff is great. I have hard water and I mainly use this to clean my hot water kettle. I put a small amount in and swish it around and it instantly dissolves the calcium and lime scale away.

Descaler recommended by upscale. luxury coffee maker.
This descaler was recommended by the maker of my Mochamaster coffee maker. Spending over 400.00 for a coffee maker that is hand -made I wanted to use what they recommended for cleaning. Works great,

Easy to use
Use the product to descale our Anova oven and works pretty well. Just follow the online instruction and add a couple cap full for regular descaling. It's pretty easy to use

Pricey but extremely effective
If I had used this stuff with my first coffee maker, decades ago, I'd probably still have the same coffee maker today. This stuff cleans the HECK out of mineral buildup, but with no sour taste in the coffee and I'm told it's eco-friendly (so I don't feel bad about pouring it down the sink?). When I'm done cleaning my coffee maker (once every 100 days), I swish the leftover Durgol around in my kettle and it instantly clears out the mineral buildup from that, too. If I have one complaint, well, I wish it were cheaper. But it just works so much better than vinegar or citric acid for cleaning coffee makers.

This works in seconds and a little goes a long way
Edit: As of Jan 20, 2025, still a fan! I cannot recommend this enough. And a little goes an extremely long way!-----------I wish I had taken a before-and-after photo of the bad limescale situation (calcium deposits) in my electric kettle (months of accumulation), and how just a tiny bit of this descaler got it out. Literally in seconds. It was like watching a fun science experiment. I added enough to cover the base entirely in a thin layer of the descaler liquid, and just as the liquid touched the base -- the calcium deposits disappeared.Since this product worked so fast and efficiently, I merely needed to swirl the same liquid on the "walls" of my kettle that also had the same problem. This also worked just as well for the inside of my thermal water tumbler as well. Just a little goes a long way. It was easy to rinse off and it didn't leave any residue or odour. I still have almost a full bottle left after using this a few times since I bought it.I highly recommend this if you're searching for a descaler for similar issues.
