They have become my go to headphone. A fun listen that never gets tiring. Changed the pads to Shure 1540s and for the price, they’re hard to beat

Sound great and have a brilliant build quality. Replacement pads are a must though as the stock ones are very thin.

I tried the T50RP MkIII and even though they sounded amazing, I was missing a decent level of bass. Don't get me wrong, I was reluctant to return them as they really are quite addictive to listen with. I ran them through a little dot mk5 dual mono with poweramp installed on my Samsung S7. Tweaking poweramp brought out the best of the available bass. Mids and trebles were superb. Non fatiguing. I read what little to almost no reviews of the T20's. Then asked a few headphone dealers about the bass on the T20's compared to the T50's and even the T40's. They were all in agreement that the T20's had the best in sub bass to compliment the clarity of the vocals. I took the plunge (again) and bought the T20 MkIII. It definitely paid off in dividends for me. I'd already purchased the Shure alcantera 1540 earpads (at ridiculous expense from the USA) to fit on them. Tweaked the settings in poweramp again. This time REDUCING the bass and slightly raising the treble. The bass is outstanding on these. No mistake. I have Denon (Fostex) D7000. The sub bass on those are hard to beat, going down to 5's as opposed to the T20's 10's, even though the human ear is only supposed to hear down to 20's. Where the T20's shine is the clear but not painfully bright vocals. There is a sacrifice to the T20's compared to the T50's and that is the bass bleeds into the lower mids, but the higher mids are still detailed enough to keep the music interesting. If you prefer mids and highs and a flat bass, get the T50's. They are excellent in their own right. However, for me, I just prefer a more meaty drive and the T20's do just that. The only reason I've given 4 stars and not 5, is because the headband does start to hurt the top of my head after about an hours use. However, after sourcing Shure earpads, I'm going to purchase the Mr Speakers comfort leather strap to remedy this. These T20RP MkIII are staying with me.

Just get better pads on the get go. You dont want to use the stock pads EVER.

very good headphones with good base, If you are going to use them with a computer, I recommend using a dac with them, I use the Fiio.E10K and it has plenty of power to drive the headphones.

Ricorda l'amplificatore, almeno un watt (1000 mW) per canale: chi parla diversamente, mente; e non sto proponendo di sfondarsi le orecchie, sia chiaro: la cuffia trasforma tutto in qualità. Io ho un Topping Nx7 per quando sono in giro, un Technics SE-A1000 mkII le aspetta a casa: amplificatore a chiodo, o quasi, e casomai volume basso al player, sempre senza estremizzare il concetto. Non badare le opinioni dei fessi che credono con 100 mW per canale di potere amplificare e giudicare. Le Fostex T20rp Mk3 vogliono corrente, e ne vogliono tanta, più o meno tutta quella che c'è, fino a 3 watt per canale, o poco meno. Per quanto riguarda la musica, non esitare, non esitare: valgono quel costano almeno quattro volte, è pazzesco; le T20rp Mk3 son la variante aperta, che esalta le basse frequenze (trovi anche le 40 e le 50 qui su Amazon, identiche ma chiuse e semiaperte), e le basse frequenze sono gestite con tanta generosa e serena semplicità, fedeltà, pienezza, potenza, che il suono è bello, bello e non so se ho mai sentito di meglio. Qui la house e la techno non è il bass boost del cavolo con la pompatina stupida, solo perché sia chiaro, c'è una sorta di fusione tra studio di registrazione e discoteca, una sintesi di una divertente e intelligente felicità più unica che rara. Ed è così che anche Nasdaq Giù di Chighine, More The I Have di Consoli e Marcolino, Nameless di PQM, bassi e casse capaci di mettere alla frusta impianti robustissimi, qui escono finalmente definiti fino all'ultima soglia dell'udibile, una bellezza, una bellezza. Ma non credere che con David Bowie, Sepultura, Metallica, Nirvana, Linea 77, Vasco Rossi eccetera eccetera ci sia da godere meno: tutto arriva equilibrato, fedele, ancora fedele, potente e nutrito, distinto: puoi seguire ogni singolo suono, ascoltare ogni singolo strumento, non c'è mai un pasticcio, mai una confusione, mai un'alterazione della pressione sonora e finalmente, finalmente, mai, mai un suono alto finisce per pungere le orecchie: gli alti sono ancora come le medie e basse frequenze, e non scappano mai, non feriscono, non costringono a riequilizzare o abbassare il volume: mai; io ho ascoltato centinaia di canzoni dei generi più disparati ad equalizzatore piatto, pur essendo questa Fostex T20rp una cuffia meravigliosa da equalizzare, meravigliosa! Niente effetti speciali, niente che non sia nell'opera che stai ascoltando, ciò che arriva in cuffia è rigorosamente Hi-Fi, alta fedeltà, solo che arriva con tanta pienezza e rotondità che dici: "io me le porto a spasso!" Certo, ti trovi a girare con mezzo chilo di dongle, se non due - perché un gruppetto dac più preamp prima del finale di potenza e con bilanciere proprio qui sì, per davvero, per davvero, ha significato e prospettiva anche per studiare e imparare l'audio, cosa succede e come si comporta - ma se non ti dispiace accompagnare queste cuffie straordinarie con una poca di artiglieria da campagna, stai certo che sul fronte della musica godrai una collezione di vittorie!E poi c'è il filone della modifica, della customizzazione, di cui ancora so poco e saprò poco ancora a lungo perché a me queste cuffie vanno a pennello: comode, leggere e bene assemblate, bellissime esteticamente, prima che io muova i miei cacciaviti stavolta passerà un bel po', ma esiste una comunità vivace e appassionata di parti di ricambio o di sostituzione, da comprare o da costruirsi: uno spettacolo nello spettacolo.Consiglio vivamente l'acquisto delle cuffie Fostex T20RP Mk3.

Se notaba que la caja Fostex alguien la recibió intentó abrirla por arriba pero como estaba sellada la abrió por abajo. Por suerte el producto estaba intacto y limpio sin signos de uso. Ignoro si le falta algo como algún adaptador de clavija o similar. En el interior encontré los auriculares, un cable largo (3m), otro corto, las instrucciones y nada más.Tras probarlos el sonido es una maravilla. Toco la guitarra eléctrica conectada al ordenador y utilizo pistas VST para acompañar con otros instrumentos. Con unos auriculares normales para escuchar música me ocurría que a determinadas frecuencias se escuchaban ruidos pero con Fostex T20RPMK3 el sonido es limpio y natural completamente. También la guitarra suena limpia y natural. Así que muy satisfecho.Respecto a la comodidad he leído comentarios que dicen que se les ponen las orejas rojas y que aprieta mucho, pero no es mi caso. Me ha resultado y no he necesitado comprar otro tipo de almohadillas. Las que tiene son cómodas y suaves. No soy de cabeza grande, ni grandes orejas, de hecho ni si quiera he tenido que regular la altura de la diadema, así que para mi caso muy cómodos.Nótese que en la imagen de la caja de Fostex T20RPMK3 que dice claramente 'Open' o sea que son ABIERTOS. Pero la descripción inicial del producto dice "cerrados". Está mal, es un modelo abierto.

The 3 meter 3.5mm to 6.35mm cable had a very strange issue. It sounded terrible, certain frequencies were too quite. Switched it out with my many others and the sound was fine. The build quality is great, and even though the stock pads are pretty much on-ear, they are quite comfortable. Very nice bass but not so much that it ruins certain genres. One thing to keep in mind, these things are stupidly hard to drive. Forget portable use with just a phone. My SMLS M3 has to be cranked all the way for quiet songs.
