The clips do not come out easily on the 2019 NISSAN TITAN XD SL. They went in easily enough, but unlike the OEM clips, they do NOT want to come out. You've literally got to break them off. I suppose using them would be fine as long as you never have to remove them. The tool, on the other hand, now that's worth the price for both,

Perfect replacement for the originals which broke during the removal while repairing a washer fluid hose leak. Plastic seem to be durable, super easy to install, just line up insulation and hole then push. Retainers look like OEM. I am pleased with my purchase.
