Fantastic tortoise house🐢
This exceeded my expectations. Based on the reviews I was fully prepared to make the modifications others had suggested, however I was so pleased this company clearly payed attention and made all the necessary improvements so I didn’t have to change a thing. I took pictures of the rubbery grip they added for the ramp, along with the hinges connecting the ramp to the upper floor. My tortoise can move up and down it with no problem. I did add wheels underneath to make moving this around much easier. I had no problem assembling this, the directions were very clear and all the pieces came properly labeled. I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Cute Little Tortoise House
This house is a great little house for our new tortoise. He has plenty of room to roam around and we have great access to him in the house. The hardest area to get to him in is the underneath of the house section, however I believe that is only a struggle since he is only 3 months old. As he gets older it will be easier to get him out of the enclosure when needed.

Good but not perfect
So this cage is fairly easy to put together, a fun layout for a tort, and overall I'm very happy with it. Some other dimensions you may need: the clearance for the ramp height is about 4 1/2 inches. The "door" to the "house" is about 6 1/2 inches by 7 1/2 inches. Some modifications I made to make this work for my tort: I had my husband cut into the wood above the ramp (picture) to make more room for my tort. He's was a little too tall for it. I also took someone suggestion to change out screws for magnets on the wire top pieces for easier cleaning (thank you so much for this suggestion!). I also added a "boot pan" to the bottom level that is covered so I could put the dirt in it and be able to pull the dirt out when time to clean. I would like to also add a small window in the covered bottom half so I can check on my tort when he's hiding in there but so far he's been enjoying the upstairs basking area and open bottom half most. The quality of this cage is pretty good, but it was dinged up a bit and has some extremely sticky glue on it in 2 spots for some reason (avoid touching if you can because it is so hard to get off your hands!) You may also need to consider getting extra heat and lighting (I do!)

My tortoise loves his new housing!
I bought this for my russian tortoise who loves it! He has become much more friendly and enjoys digging around and going up and down his ramp. He also loves the house and sleeps in it nightly. It was easy to put together as the instructions were really clear! The only thing is you need a power drill to put the screws in. I also recommend not screwing the the house/ ramp part and middle mesh cover part in for ease of cleaning. As the directions point to drilling them to the base structure, which if you do, cleaning will be impossible. I still give it 5 starts because it actually allows for the tortoises to feel safe, secure, and provides plenty of room for them to walk around. Its sturdy and safe plus really cute looking. Absolutely recommend this terrarium to anyone with a smaller tortoise!

It’s “okay”.
It was okay, not easy to build at all. It took us well over an hour because pieces did not align. It’s going to be hard to clean. Right now my baby red foot tortoise walks all over, it is spacious. I would definitely had passed on it had I known what it was like to build prior. I gave it three stars because it’s cute and sturdy when built.

The bottom of this cage is plastic, but the second level is particle board.
I got this cage for my baby Red Foot Tortoise to have as an outdoor turnout. He loves to climb around in his current tank, and I'm excited to see him go through to the different levels. It was super easy to put together; the instructions were great, and the parts were very well organized. The only problem I foresee is that the upper level is made out of particle board; which will not last super well outside. It also might be a little difficult to clean out the lower level. The video that is shown in the ad is a little misleading, as it shows the house being easily lifted off of the plastic bottom. Truthfully, you have to screw the house onto the bottom in order to put the cage together.

Garbage design
It’s impossible to clean as designed and the tray, which cracked almost immediately, doesn’t fit in the bottom.
