Great fun for all musical theatre lovers!
Absolutely brilliant game. You get to dance and sing to great Broadway show stoppers in the privacy of your own home. The dance moves are proper musical theatre dance and tap steps. The routines are good stage copies of the original stage choreography, (if you have enough energy you can get to do the Fame jump!). The lyrics are also shown on the screen so you can sing along although you don't use a mike and there is, luckily for me, no feedback for the singing. The feedback comes via the motion sensors in the Wii remote, you get a score of Great, OK or X for each move, this gives you an end score. It was certainly enough to be able to show me where I was out of rhythm or doing the wrong steps. For me it makes for a challenging, fun work out. Perhaps if you are intensively competitive or into very sophisticated computer graphics it won't eb your cup of tea. However if you enjoy musicals and dancing I would definitely recommend this game.In the words of a British musical character, Please sir can we have more!!

A fun and easy to follow game
After playing on Just Dance 2 a little too much I fancied a change so bought this instead. It has a good choice of show songs, although there are a couple I was not familiar with which makes it quite hard to follow the routines for them. Each song has 4 dancers, so I expected 4 different dance routines to be available for each song, unfortunately there are only a couple of songs where the dancers do different routines to one another. Other than this slight downfall it is a fun game, and works in a very similar way to Just Dance. I can imagine that it's going to be a great success with my girlfriends on our next girly night in! It would be great for there to be an add on game with some extra songs as I think it will soon get overplayed!

Middle of the Yellow Brick Road...
Having played Just Dance and the Michael Jackson experience on the Wii with friends and family I was excited to see a similar game which featured some of my favorite Broadway songs. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the audio as the songs (well at least most of them)are set the the same beat and tone of the original tracks. Nothing bores me more than a mournful cover of an upbeat musical track. So good music... the same can not be said for the graphics. The dancers move quickly and are often moved around the screen making their actions hard to follow, particularly when the camera angle is zoomed out. Despite this I have still been able to follow most of the dance moves and with repeated play I am sure then I will pick up some of the harder moves. At £6.99 it is a game which offers good fun with some great music. Not a game for anyone who takes themselves too seriously! Have fun!

Just fantastic
This was bought for my nine year old daughter and has quickly become a family favourite. It provides a fantastic work out and it's fun! The dances are easy to follow and even my ten year old son has a go (and generally beats everyone). Dances are scored by the accuracy of your movements so you quickly become used to the speed and movements of the dances. You can dance to a good range of musical numbers from Chicago, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Fame (to name but a few). I have recommended this to several friends. A fantastic game for the whole family!!!

Lots of fun!
I got this game for my sister as a birthday present and with some trepidation we tried it out. Neither of us are professional dancers and have both ended up in our thirties and pretty unfit. This game is so much fun, we laughed so much we cried trying out some of the routines - as a word of advice, stay away from the faster paced routines until you have built up some fitness (we almost ended up calling an ambulance through my asthma) but there is fun to be had throughout this game as long as you don't take it too seriously.

dance on broadway
I do not like this at all! The songs are not sung by the original artists, the music has been changed so that the beat is slower and not produced by the original musicians, the dance moves are not in the same league as the performances you'd see at the theatres! I found this game extremely boring and dull, and I advise anyone thinking of buying it to try it out in the shops first. Dance on Broadway (Wii)

Get Your Jazz Shoes On...
To all those who say 'Dance On Broadway' isn't as good as 'Just Dance', or doesn't give you a good enough workout. I disagree! This gives me a great workout, equal to that of 'Just Dance'. I love musicals so thoroughly enjoyed this, however it goes without saying if you don't like musicals, don't buy it. There are a wide selection of songs you can dance and/or sing to and to be honest I can't see myself getting bored anytime soon! Why not 5*? It is the same as 'Just Dance' in that it is not 100% accurate, so you could be doing a certain dance move perfectly and it may give you a miss score or only ok, simply because either the wii remote, or the sensor on the top of my TV didn't pick up the signal properly. Also, because you can play it with up to 4 players, the 4 characters are on the screen at the same time (even if you are playing with just 1 player). This is all very well, however when the camera starts moving in and out and on to the other characters you can lose sight of your own characters moves. It would have been better if the camera just stayed in one position on the performers, rather than moving around the stage. Oh and yes, the graphics could have been better...

Slightly frustrating
As with other Wii dance games (apart from Michael Jackson's), it's slightly frustrating to follow the graphics as you can't really see the moves and many of them seem to be much the same. Apart from that, this game is just as much fun as the rest, but with familiar show-tunes.
