We have used the environmentally friendly brands for decades, but the clothes were having buildup problems and hard. They worked for our sensitive skin, but... I read evaluations that recommended Tide. What! So we switched cold turkey to the Tide Free and Gentle fragrance free version and it seems to be working much better. We are shocked. It's been a month or so and our skin did not break out, it doesn't stink, and the clothes and towels are getting softer and perhaps cleaner. They don't carry this version at our local grocery stores, but it's here. The cap is sturdy, it doesn't leak, it can be measured. We also break the dryer loads in half which may be helping as well for the softness factor. Life is a continual experiment. Hopefully Tide doesn't decide to improve it by adding stink, or taking it off the market because of something or other. We're hooked so far after a month of consistent use.

Tide Free and Gentle has been my go to detergent because it cleans exceptionally well without irritating sensitive skin. Tide Free & Gentle is exactly what I want from a laundry detergent: it cleans well, doesn’t have a heavy scent, and doesn’t make my clothes feel like they were washed in a perfume factory explosion. The 132 oz bottle lasts a long time, which is great because doing laundry is already enough of a life sentence without having to constantly buy more detergent. It gets clothes clean, works well for sensitive skin, and keeps everything smelling fresh without screaming, “I AM LAUNDRY” from across the room. Overall, it’s a reliable, no-drama detergent. It’s gentle, effective, and big enough to make me feel like I’m running a small but emotionally stable laundromat.

I purchased this because I noticed my 3 month old was developing a rash. I was unsure if it was a heat rash or a possible irritation from laundry detergent. Her rash has since disappeared but I will continue to use this for her because it washes well and is fragrant free and no more rash.

The 84 fl oz bottle gives 64 loads, so it lasts a good amount of time and feels like a good value. The bottle is easy to store, and the cap makes it simple to measure the right amount. The scent is very mild, which is exactly what I wanted. It does not have that strong perfume smell that some detergents have, but the laundry still feels clean. The strength is good enough for regular stains and daily use, while still being gentle enough for sensitive skin. Overall, this is a dependable detergent with good cleaning power, a gentle formula, and no overpowering scent. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, simple laundry detergent that is easier on the skin.

I prefer a detergent that's gentle, free from heavy chemical , mild to no scent, and cleans well. This Tide does them all and at a fair price. I particularly like the very light scent, it's natural without smelling strong.

Tide is the only detergent that does not cause my husband skin irritation. I prefer the liquid because we have varying load sizes. We prefer this size for easy lifting. It is shipped in a heavy duty cardboard box. Big Pros: No scent. No dyes. Dissolves without residue in any water temperature. No skin reactions. Comes in a variety of sizes. For convenience can be a subscription. Cons: It does not seem to matter what packaging is used, if not transported upright, it always arrives with leakage from the top. Cons

I love that this Tide Free & Gentle has in unscented and free of dyes, making it perfect for my grandson's and my sensitive skin. Previously, I had been using All's version, but, while I find All to be just as good for sensitive skin, Tide is slightly more effective when it comes to tough stains. Whites and colors both come out bright. Cold water washing is just as effective as warm. My washing machine takes HE detergent only, and this Tide is indeed concentrated. Especially since I have a septic system, I need a detergent that is gentle. This checks all the boxes.

We love tide free and gentle. It has no scent and is gentle enough for my newborn's clothes. We use it for the whole family. It is tough enough to use with cold water as well. This is also an excellent detergent for cloth diapers! I have eczema and this is the only detergent I use. Works great in our high efficiency machine. Not that you have to loosen the cap to get the detergent to flow out. My only complaint is with the measuring cup - if you place it back on the bottle after using, detergent residue will slowly run from the cap onto the bottle and it gets messy. On normal bottles, this residue runs back into the bottle. I'm not sure how Tide could improve this design. I've just stopped putting the measuring cap back on. It is really nice to be able to order heavy products like this and have them delivered right to your door.

We have tried multiple detergents for our daughter. This one is perfect. She has sensitive skin and this detergent does not cause any reaction. So glad we finally found something that works!

Clothes feel clean-ish. If you have any clothes that you use a lot or in the case you are a sweaty person, it will not remove the odor. Detergent on the clothes seems to be working without leaving any type of irritation in sensitive skin. But the tiniest smell your clothes might have will stay. I would give a 3.5 if the app let me

Godsend for people with extremely sensitive skin!!! Before I switched I couldn’t figure out what was making extremely itchy skin, well it was the regular tide . Hello switch to free & clear. No dyes, no perfume, feels like I’m doing good to use on my clothes, cause hello they’re rubbing against my body all day and night while I’m sleeping. 5 stars ⭐️
