Works well
Works well. This is a nice little "tool" good quality for the price. Holds a good amount of weight although I can't say that I have actually tested how much it can pick up. The magnets have a relatively small surface area so it won't work to well on anything thin and heavy but does a good job on big lumps of metal.

Very good magnet.
Very strong magnet ideal for picking up screws and nails. It is strong enough to use as a permanent handle on a metal door. The magnet comes with a two-piece protector which conveniently reduces the magnetic strength to the point where it will not stick to anything at all.

Strong magnet
This is a strong magnet. I bought to use as a handle for the door of my tumble dryer. However in order for it to work effectively as a handle I have to put it right at the edge of the door. If I put it where the original door handle was then I can easily pull it off and the door doesn't open.It serves the purpose anyway so I'm okay with that. The magnet will certainly outlast the machine.

Brittle handles
Sadly it's not made like they use to be, The plastic handles are very brittle and break very easily when using the magnets. I have a pair from 8 years ago and the handle stayed in tack using daily working as a welder fabricator and the magnet worked its self loose within the handle because of the shree force of the magnet, Which is why I brought a new bunch but they have broke very quickly.

Neat and effective.
Bought to lift a zinc inspection cover for sewage system. It's lightweight and really easy to use. Four stars because I don't think it would lift the weight claimed. It would need two to lift a cast iron drain cover. Pleased with it.
