You only buy this for one reason; aesthetics.
The media could not be loaded. In regards to cooling performance, I'm using this to cool a 7800x3d which has a TDP of 125w. Prior to buying this I contacted Asus support to see what TDP of Intel processors the Ryujin II was capable of cooling, I have attached the image they sent me (I later opted to get a 7800x3d). The maximum TDP they recommend was 65w, however it still has support for up to 125w. When I saw this AIO pop up in a sale for €180 I decided to give it a shot.It cools the 7800x3d without any issues. When browsing the internet or watching videos, the temperature of the CPU never goes above 34 degrees and the CPU package sits at 45 degrees (see Armory Crate screenshot). Once I start gaming, those temperatures rise by about 6-10 degrees and remain there.I have seen one other German reviewer state that it was not sufficient to cool a 10700f. That CPU has a significantly lower TDP than that of a 7800x3d, sitting at 65w. So they either:1 - had a faulty unit.2 - poorly applied thermal paste3 - incorrectly mounted the AIO.The main reason you would consider this AIO is for the LCD screen. You can have the screen display information about your CPU and GPU temperatures or you can customize it to display GIFs. I opted for the latter. In terms of clarity, the screen can look a little washed out when displaying brighter GIFs, it seems to do a better job with darker images. I initially had a little difficulty in getting the LCD screen to retain the loaded GIFs (it kept resetting itself back to default). I later figured out that it worked best if the GIFs were under 14 Mb even though it states that it supports files up to 16 Mb in size. I have had no issues since. In regards to noise, I have my tower on my desk next to me. I never hear the AIO when I have my headphones on (I have Sennheisers with an open back design that let more external noise through). You can definitely hear the AIO however when the headphones are off. Its not overly loud or distracting however.Personally speaking I do not think its worth paying more than €200 for this little AIO. If you can pick it up in a sale its well worth it. There is obviously a newer model, the Ryujin III and from what I have seen in reviews, the image clarity on the screen is improved in that model.
