It's just shy of 32cm, about 31.5. It's quite a hefty lump but it is really good. I would've said it was worth every penny because its strong and keeps drinks hot for over 24 hours but my mum told me she bought one from ikea which also had a metal lining and I wish I'd got that for £4 instead! Having said that, the extra money might be worth spending for saving the hassle having to go to ikea.

hot Almond milk would be alright ?

I find normal milk leaves an old milk smell, but I can't see why almond milk would be a problem. I have put hot dogs in it successfully for a snack on the beach on a cold day...that worked.

Can you use this flask for soup?

I would imagine so - but I have never used it for soup. What I can say is that if it was used for soup this flask would certainly keep it hot for hours - the insulation properties of this product are first class!
