GINGIN AV to HDMI Converter, AV to HDMI Adapter Support 720p/1080p for PS1/PS2/PS3/Xbox 360/WII/N64/SNES/STB/VHS/VCR/Blue-Ray DVD Players

A friend wanted to hook his VHS deck to his new Samsung TV but it did not have composite inputs, this converted the signal fine and the picture looked great in both 720 or 1080 mode. They are switchable but if the picture from tape is of high quality they both look fine.

Have an old vcr , wanted to watch some old videos , vcr output is rca connectors , plugged rca's into this converter and then plugged hdmi cable between the converter and a 4K pc monitor , I just used an old cell phone adapter for the usb power into the GinGin AV to HDMI converter , it works just fine . This is ; In My Opinion .

Very nice piece, easy to use, does what is expected.

Definitely does it's job but using it for a first gen PlayStation to an OLED 65" TV stretches the video way too much but it does work.

Absolutely crap. Doesn't work at all. Tried to use it for my N64 to my new TV that only has HDMI and doesn't work at all. Tried looking at the manual (gives no helpful information) and troubleshooting and nothing. So fo older gaming systems not compatible do not buy

Um should have had a extra lower setting for units like Sega my unit worked great on my old Samsung tv but i upgraded the tv too newer one and no aux ports so here we go. These might work better with units like Playstation or other newer .but og consoles the picture can bug your eyes do too pixelazion but works. And one other thing aux ports on unit are not stable be careful on plugging in your cables the ports will push back. The Unit got my fix in for old games not totally mad it worked ok..why they don't just add a plug it's beyond me .cable but no plug lol

This AV to HDMI converter works exactly as advertised and completely fulfills its purpose. Setup was very straightforward, and it allowed us to connect and play our NES on a modern TV without any major issues. The image quality is surprisingly good for a converter in this price range, and retro games look clean and enjoyable on screen. One important thing to note is that the device does need external power (it includes the necessary cable, which is great). However, if you already have a lot of cables crowded behind your TV setup, finding extra space and managing one more connection can be a little inconvenient. That said, once everything is connected, it works wonderfully. We’ve had a great experience using it for retro gaming, image quality can improve even more depending on the filters and picture settings you adjust on your TV, so it’s worth experimenting a bit to get the best look. The adapte is an excellent option for anyone wanting to enjoy older consoles on newer televisions.

This is also a very great product. Once you plug it in and you find your source it works you will be happy. I needed to be patient to figure it but it works.. cool

It's simplistic and works as it should

It works, but for PS2, the video is blurry. Maybe PS2 the is suppose to be 480i, and this adapter being 720p-1080p causes stretch causing this issue? Either way, it is a neat adapter to have on hand.
