Expensive, doesn't last long, but it goes on well and it looks fabulous
I had an unusual task to perform in the summer. Many years ago my wife bought a chiminea with money my family had given to her for her 40th birthday. It was a VW Camper Van T1 manufactured out of an old gas bottle, and when we bough it it looked incredible in polished metal. Within a couple of weeks, however, it was rusting away. It still looked good, but not the eye-catching spectacle it was when we bought it. I had a week off during the summer and amongst my many tasks I had decided I wanted to surprise her and renovate her chiminea. Instead of trying to return it to polished metal, I wanted to paint it up in the colours she'd have a VW camper van. So, red bodywork with white upper and black piping and tyres obviously. I went on a quest to find the ideal paint. This Vitcas paint seemed to be my best bet. I wanted to stick with one manufacturer, and they did the same furnace paint of the same specification in all three colours that I wanted. The reviews were generally positive, but I took heed of the negative ones too. It took me a week to do, but with some intricate masking and lots of patience I built up four layers of paint of the three colours and revealed the finished product to my delighted wife. The paint itself was very good. I learned very quickly how close I could get before the spray was too rich and would begin to run. Once you figure that out you can get quite accurate and artistic with them. You do have to be modest with how much you use as the spray doesn't last too long. I ended up buying twice as much paint as I expected, so the who process became really expensive as the cans aren't cheap, but the amount of brownie points I've earned has been more than worth it.

Great!
Removed a hardboard cover previous flat owners had put over the fireplace. Wasn't sure what to do with the slightly gnarled old grate/fire back that was in there (immediately understood why it had been covered up!) and after trying to find something suitable, I started looking for fire-resistant paint. Can't speak for the flameproof qualities of the paint, as the fireplace will never had a fire in it, BUT as for providing a great matt finish, this is perfect for what I was looking for. Went on a treat, lots of light covering to build up layers and it dried really flat, no streaks or runs. It's a really deep black, and I used the whole can on a three-sided fireback about 16" tall. Would definitely use again if I needed to.

Did a good job on my bbq
My gas bbq was a bit worn from being outside in the winter months. After cleaning the bbq, I used this to tidy it up and my partner who was pretty dubious, was pretty impressed with it! I have had a few BBQs since using it and it seems to be fine and still looks good!

Highly recommend
Cannot rate this enough. Had a horrible “gold” gas fire. Used this spray paint and what a transformation. No more gold!!! Saved me a lot of money as I would’ve had to replace the fire. So easy to use as well

Very pleased, great paint
I used this to tidy up gas fire backboards and coal-bed that needed attention after some 20 or 15 years of hard work. They've come up a treat, and now look as good as the new coals I bought. I applied a couple of coats - there's plenty in the can. The plastic nozzle clogged a bit after a while but I soaked the nozzle in some soapy water for a minute and sprayed some compressed air through it, and it was good to go. The fire's been on a number of times now and the colour has kept true.

Very heat resistant
I used this spray to spray my chimney stove black, and it worked perfectly, very fast to dry and it seems to cope very well with the high temepratures. I would highly recommend it.

Fonctionne parfaitement - joli rendu mat
