Bought for grandson's new bedroom, he chose it as we already have one in our bathroom and it is really nice.

Great light, all the features work well except the spec lists a central button on the remote is a night light feature but the version received has a 60s timer to turn off instead. The main light doesn’t dim enough to be a night light but we can use the white coloured edge light if needed. The coloured lights work well, including cycling and chasing colour changes.The remote works well from all angles of the room.This is a little difficult to fit as the fixing is quite flush to the ceiling : difficulty is in fitting the stiff house cable into the casing, but this even comes with a neat little connector block for the wires. However if we’d had to space it off the ceiling a little it would help the coloured lights have a bigger glowing area so not a big problem.

The media could not be loaded. This arrived in a plain cardboard box in bubble wrap and well protected. The size (as advertised) was larger than I had thought (29cm) and it emits good light over 3 shades (Warm/White/Neutral) or ambient backlight in RGB colours. The brightness is adjustable along with the colour temperature. It comes ready to wire in with fixings for ceiling (supplied) and wire ready to go in either the Terminal block (supplied) or the latest push in cantilever connectors. The mounting plate is easy to fix to the ceiling and the light twists into the mounting plate.The functions are accessible using the remote control supplied (2 AAA batteries needed). There is all the functionality you need for the main light or you can just have the ambient RGB backlight on. I find that the backlight for me would not really get used that much - it will be more as a standard light. I can see the ambient RGB looking good in the right setting though.The light has an IP44 rating which means it can withstand the odd splashes or light rain, although I would assume that it will usually be ceiling mounted rather than on a wall so should not be too much of an issue. The unit itself is quite light so the fixings supplied should be fine.The rating is 24W, 3,200 Lms and life span of 25,000 hrs. The remote is an essential add on with so many functions - or even if just used as a main light. At the time of writing it is a good price too at £22.74 after the current voucher for 35% off is applied.

Lights lovely, if it ever stays on the ceiling bracket, how you can mess up a screw fitting, god only knows.Avoid.

The media could not be loaded. This flush mount ceiling light has more than you need in a light. Its dimmable so there are many brightness levels. The remote has 20% 50% and 100% buttons to easily select a brightness level. There is a warm light, bright light, natural light by way of 3000k - 6000k buttons and all levels are dimmable with an up and down button. It has a multicoloured rgb back-light too which can be on or off or different colours and sequences. All of these light levels are selected by use of the remote control (which requires 2x AAA batteries). When you have a selected a light using the remote control, you can simply use the wall light switch to turn the light on or off.It is a nice large light, 29cm and is very thin, in fact, so thin it did make it difficult to store the excess wires in. So quite fiddly to fit and doesn't sit quite flush with the ceiling, but it's barely noticeable thankfully. Perhaps I could have trimmed the wires a bit. Overall, it's a fantastic ceiling light at a very reasonable price.

It comes with a remote to control it.The light looks very lovely and noticeably increases the glow wherever you install them. RGB and having a remote make it unique. At night you can just leave the RGB effect on which looks very soothing in the dark. These are easy to install and come with all that's needed to install.Overall a great product to add to our light collection.

This is a bit of a slight novelty, i was going to utilise it as a replacement for my bathroom fitting but upon testing the RGB element changed my mind and fitted it in the lounge instead, i am unsure as to whether it will remain there indefinitely or not yet as i do have additional wall lights and am unsure if the novelty will wear off.Fitting this is simple, just attach the plastic backing plate to your existing ceiling light location with the screws (included), attach the two wires of this light to your existing wiring utilising the plastic wiring block (included), push the light up to the backing plate and twist to attach. Job done.The item itself consists entirely of plastic construction, however it appears decently manufactured and durable, but time as they say will tell in this regard.The versatility of this light resides in the use of the included remote control which requires two AA batteries (not included) and is functional to control both the main light and the RGB surround, 20%, 50% and 100% are selectable along with 3000k 4000k and 6000k brightness, there is also a button to cycle RGB lighting along with an on/off button.I found that the RGB alone was good when watching a movie, providing an ambient glow without being in total darkness, whilst the main light is bright enough on it's own for smaller rooms, it may require additional lighting when utilised in larger areas, however if like me you have additional wall lighting then that should not pose a problem.Simple to fit with decent brightness on the highest setting, but it will depend on your room size as to whether you will need additional lighting.Recommended
