With the money for low carb and tastes great!
This pasta is fantastic! I cooked it a couple of more minutes and I just love the taste of it I made shrimp Alfredo with brocolli and it was fantastic. Will order again. You can get traditional for way less money, but if you have to be or need to be on a low carb diet, this is well worth the money!

Sunday's and Thursday's Italian-American Family Dinner's Convert
Having been raised in an Italian household, eating at least two meals of pasta a week, Sunday and Thursday, being the standard, I couldn't think about living without pasta, but as an aging man, my middle is beginning to expand. I've tried everything I could think of to cut out to lose weight: beer, soda, sweets, chips... but no way in hell could i ever give up pasta. Now I don't have to. I just ordered the Ziti (love baked ziti!) and used some homemade tomato sauce I had and WOW! I love it. I love the texture, which isn't too far off from regular pasta. Actually, I like the texture better, as I cooked the pasta for about 5 minutes before I put it into the sauce and it stood up very well. I will continue to purchase this product instead of the boxes of semolina based pastas I usually buy (wont name them here, even though I had my favorites). I just wish they had Rigatoni, which is my favorite, but I'll live without that! And after consuming 2 portions, I don't feel stuffed at all, actually, I feel satisfied yet not over-full, if you know what I mean.

High price, disappointing texture
I’ve been trying all different brands of low carb pasta, and I’m sorry to say this texture is really bad. It’s dense and gooey. Not really good in flavor. I thought for the high price I’d be getting a good experience w these noodles but it’s definitely not comparable to regular pasta. I understand it’s not “regular” pasta but there are other low carb options that their texture is almost the same as regular pasta. Will not buy again. Wish I could return the unopened boxes.

The most authentic alternative pasta.
These lupini flour pastas are the closest thing to regular pasta you can get on a low carb diet. Nothing else compares. They aren't perfect - a bit chewy and heavier in your stomach, but it allows you to have pasta again. Kaizen has been my go-to brand for a while now. Pricey, yes. That's why I only buy it once a month or so.

Awesome product for diabetics!
My husband is a diabetic and because of that we rarely eat pasta. I tried Kaizen pasta and we absolutely love it! I didn't tell my husband that is wasn't regular pasta until after he ate it and he didn't notice the difference. It has the same consistency and texture as regular pasta and tastes better than chick pea pasta which we ate occasionally. Unfortunately, it is very expensive but at least we have this healthy option when we're in the mood for pasta. Now I can make pasta casseroles and feel good about it. With summer here, I'm going to make a cold pasta salad.

Acquired taste
It’s NOT pasta. It’s the lupin bean, so be careful if you think you’re going to eat half the box in one setting. You do that and you’re going to be in the bathroom with cramps and gassing up the place. If you’re the least bit sensitive to beans, this stuff ain’t for you. The good news is it’s great if you’re replacing a carb in your meal. This will not spike your blood sugar. Great for diabetics. The issue is the taste isn’t pasta. It’s nothing like pasta. I’ve cooked mine for 7 minutes to get it Al Dente or as close to it without overcooking it by a minute. You can’t make leftovers because the stuff will crumble. Lastly, it’s criminally expensive. $11 for a box of this stuff is dumb. My advice to anyone is if you’re finicky about your food, don’t bother. You’re going to think it sucks loads.

Bakes perfectly every time
Finally, a low-carb pasta that holds up in the over! This ziti stays firm, packs serious protein, and works in all my favorite recipes.

To mushy and does not reheat well.
The taste is okay, over cook it and its mush, does not keep well when reheating. To expensive. Just do with it and keep cauliflower or zucchini. When you boil it, water is almost a thick paste like, assuming from the bean mixture. Save your money and do without.

I never write reviews but I have to with this pasta. This is it. Stop looking around. It's not some strange mushroom, or something that smells like fish that needs to be drained and rinsed. This is the closest thing to pasta it will make you believe it is pasta. It feels the same when dried, cooks in boiling salted water for 5-6 minutes in the same way as pasta and tastes similar to pasta it just has a bit more of a 'bite' or 'chew'. But not crazy, it's very close. My family was full KETO for 2021 and 2022. We just came back recently and this is an absolute game changer. My only complaint to the company is the weight of the boxes are a bit light as opposed to the written grams. I'm not sure if that's a packaging mistake or some poor fella at the factory doesn't know how to trade a scale. That will certainly upset people when it costs as much as it does. All that said - there isn't a better one we've tried. This is to he best by a long shot.

A little pricey. Follow the directions exactly. Not much taste on their own (which is fine for pasta), and can tend to feel a little grainy in the mouth if not cooked exactly right.

I love pasta but I’ve been on a low carb diet for some time now, and well, traditional pasta isn’t really an option for me. First heard of Kaizen maybe 2 weeks ago, on instagram. Went to see if I could buy some but there was still no shipping to Canada, but that had changed a few days ago! Delivery was fast, product is surprisingly good. Texture is great, cooking time is fast, flavour is neutral… Made some seafood pasta with them and was very satisfied. 5/5 would recommend. Thought, I have two remarks. 1. It’s very pricey… CAD$56 + taxes, for 3 boxes… It’s quite a luxury. 2. Could’ve been better packed. As a matter of fact it wasn’t really packed. The Kaizen boxes just came wrapped in plastic foil, with a label on top. As a result, the boxes came heavily damaged. Otherwise, great product. Will likely buy again!

I was so hopeful that this would be edible based on the reviews, but it’s definitely not worth the money. I wasn’t expecting this to be similar to pasta, but it tastes like overcooked beans and the texture is mushy even when undercooked. This was a fail for me!

Compared to other keto pasta I've tried, this is by far the best. Very close to normal pasta, or at least close enough for me. Not slimey and rubbery like konjac pasta. The only downside in my opinion, is the high price.
