Drano Balance Drain Clog Remover & Cleaner, Restores Flow in 1 Hour, 32 oz

This worked really good. I had a clog in my bathroom sink. I poured it down. Let it sit for an hour and then ran hot water down it for a couple of minutes and it cleared the clog out.

Works great!! Fast too. I poured it into standing water in my bathroom sink and it unclogged within 20 minutes!!

This is good for one thing and not always for another. It would be great if this was good for all uses. The one thing I can say it's good for is the bathroom sink. It always works there and makes me feel like the odor coming out of the sink drain is improved. One or even two bottles are not strong enough for oil and grease in the kitchen drains. Maybe two bottles would be okay for the toilet in an emergency, but I'm uncertain how good it is with toilet paper. I get a much thicker enzyme and a much larger bottle for other jobs. I have old pipes.

I bought Drano (32fl oz) and Liquid Plumber (16 fl oz) just to test which worked better for our clogged bathroom sink. Eventually poured all the 32 fl oz after two attempts... did nothing. Then, just poured1/4 part of the 16 fl oz bottle content of Liquid Plumber, waited for only 5 minutes before pouring hot water. Instantly unclogged the sink. I usually use Liquid Plumber but bought Drano, thinking that makers might have improved their product this time (2026), but they didn't. Just a waste of money! Disappointing...but Iesson learned. That's why I gave Drano "0" star. NOTE: Gave a star just to submit my honest review

Worked the first try!

I purchased this version to unclog my tub in my guest tub/shower combo. I usually buy the regular Drano version for hair clog removal. I decided to try this one after reading their guarantee plus it is a little less expensive. I followed the instructions to a T. Poured half the bottle into the drain and let it sit well over the recommended 30 minutes. I flushed the drain with super hot water for 10-15 minutes and the tub unfortunately was still not free of the clog. It recommends that if it doesn’t work the first time then use the remaining product in the drain and follow instructions. I did this the second time and this time J allowed it to sit for several hours prior to rinsing it with hot water. Still didn’t work! I do not recommend this due to its inability to unclog a pretty common, simple hair clog in the drain. Even after using the entire bottle I had to buy a bottle of the original Drano for hair clogs to unclog the drain. Drano is a great product and I highly recommend it, but not this version!
