These tungsten-carbide tile scoring wheels are a solid replacement for my tile cutter. I needed new wheels after my originals wore out from heavy use on various tile projects around the house, and these have been performing excellently. The 7/8 inch size fits my cutter perfectly, and the tungsten-carbide construction means they stay sharp much longer than cheaper alternatives. I've been cutting through ceramic and porcelain tiles with clean, consistent scores. The wheels produce crisp scoring lines without skipping or chattering. Installation was straightforward - they fit the mounting bracket exactly as they should. The pack of 2 is a great value, giving me a spare when I eventually need it. If you're doing tile work regularly, these are definitely worth having on hand. They cut clean and last long.

Fantastic product!

I had high hopes for this tile cutter. I messed around with it for a few to get the hang of it and on my first longer cut (18”), it didn’t cut straight. Turns out, it’s not square. I tried loosening and then retightening the screws that hold the two arms together to no avail. I bought this to make long cuts on 4’ tile. I’m so disappointed. I’m sending it back but I’m so bummed at the time this has cost me.

It took me two or three tries to cut 4-ft tile with out breaking it for what it is I'll give it four to five stars

Work perfectly

The instructions for set up were just about impossible to follow. The tile blades were difficult to get seated into the cradle. Once i figured out the pliers portion, it seemed to cut well. However, that wasn't before I broke quite a few (expensive) tiles. Ended up hiring someone to tile, because I couldn't count on this. If you can figure it out and reliably get good cuts, it's a neat tool allowing for very long cuts. But I doubt you'll see the pros using this
