Misleading images in the advert
It's nice, but cheaper rebadged versions of this exact board are available elsewhere. This isn't my main keyboard. This is my second keyboard for armchair/sofa purposes.I wanted a cheap wireless keyboard with full-size keys and backlighting, but they cost more $$$, so I bought a USB extension cable and this.I like typing on it - physically everything is chunky and nice about this board. The membrane keys are a bit heavy (a bit too much resistance) but the keys are a great size.I also wanted backlighting, but the backlighting here is not great. The images attached to this amazon listing are misleading. The fourth and fifth images clearly show the backlight colours in different places when compared to the first three images - this is wrong. The backlight colours do not move, and only appear in the same place, as shown in the first three images attached to this amazon listing. This means you have one side of the keyboard always green, one side always purple, etc. The left side of the board is nicely lit by the green backlighting. The right side of the main keyboard is red and pink, and not very easy to read. The blue arrow keys on the far right side are nicely lit.The backlight options are:OffOn (three brightness levels)PulsingI am not impressed by the backlighting, but the keys are just where I want them and typing is fine so I enjoy typing in the dark with this keyboard. The games store Game here in the UK has this exact board for sale under the Trust gaming brand ("Gaming X Trust" or something) for £22.99, and not even in a sale price or anything, it is just cheaper for the same board.Overall, I enjoy using this odd keyboard. I took a chance and I'll keep it and use it every day until it breaks. I do not recommend it for the money.

product not as advertised. Has a small shift key
Bought this keyboard under the knowledge that in the images it was important for me to get a keyboard with the large shift key, but when the product arrived it was not as indicated in the pictures

A decent keyboard but lacks a sense of purpose
This is a good quality keyboard aimed at gamers but I am a little unsure why! If it is the back-lighting that creates the interest then it seems to be a rather cosmetic selling point. As the instruction manual included in the package is 2 very small pages for each language, the amount of detail about the keyboard functions is minimal. So I tested this keyboard for functionality on a Windows 11 machine and it works well. The membrane keyboard feels good when typing but I would constantly reach for a numeric keypad that feels like it is meant to be there - but is not! In the general area of where a numeric pad should be, is three lights for caps lock, screen lock and windows lock (?!) - the latter I found by searching the keyboard for a lock icon. Still no idea what it does - not explained in the manual and has to be turned on using the function key!At a price of £45.99 (at time of review) it is what I would expect for a gaming keyboard but it just seems more like a standard Windows keyboard (minus the numeric pad) with some backlighting!

Very disappointing for the price
Positives first ...This keyboard has a good weight to it and stays exactly where you've put it on the desk.It has a standard layout with no numeric pad so it takes up a bit less room than a traditional keyboard. It's fine for typing on. Membrane keys so it's fairly quiet, but with plenty of travel. It has a braided USB cable, which I like. Not really a positive or negative ... as it has a very sturdy metal base and non-slip feet, it doesn't have adjustable feet. However I found the fixed angle just fine. (It has a raised "bump" all the way along at the rear of the base to hold it at that angle.)Now onto the negatives ...The "RGB" lighting is fixed, with a fixed "rainbow" effect stretching from one end of the keyboard to the other. I double checked whether any other colour schemes are available and the answer is no. Interestingly the Acer website shows this keyboard with two different arrangements of the colours, but this does not appear to be possible. So the only options are Off, On (with3 brightness levels) or "breathing" where all the LEDs slowly fade on and off.Key visibility ... the lighting illuminates the white areas on the baseplate well enough but illumination through the translucent key kegends is very dim. It's especially dim over on the right where the backlight is blue. This makes the Home, Page up/down etc keys difficult to see. Fortunately they are in the standard layout. The price ... not at all good value for such basic functionality. (Full disclosure ... I was provided with this item for free under the Amazon Vine programme but if I had paid full price for it I would have been very disappointed.)
