Again Imagine FX have surpassed themselves with an excellently written and presented book, giving plenty of techniques and tips along the way for any aspiring or proffesional artist it adds a great deal to my already growing collection of books. so this isnt the most informative from a lessons point of view. It provides tips from a bunch of artist, but if your looking for a more step by step with technique insights this is probably not it

目次 6 Introduction 8 Characters 36 Creatures 68 Environments 104 Robots＆Weapons 144 Vehicles 178 3D Art Skills 192 Sci-Fi Gallery 大きさは21×21のペーパーブックで、いくつかのチュートリアルは 過去の出版物（FXimagineや2DArtist）で既出物もあったけど、 半分以上は初めて見るのもあったのでそれなりに充実していた。 もちろん海外のチュートリアル集なので解説文は英文であり、 ブラシとかの情報はある程度省略されています。 ですが、１個の画像につき多くて６Pで途中過程のキャプチャ画像も載っており、 ショートカット情報もあるので、集中して学べば、 それなりのものが描けるのではないかと思います。 さらに、Sci-Fi Galleryもあるので、SFのファンタジーとか 未来都市を眺めるのが好きな方がが購入するのもありだと思います。

Good book, great source of inspiration and well explained tutorials. Unfortunately, i gave it 3 stars because there are so many tutorials already seen, printed, and reprinted in other books. The price, compared with other digital painting guide from 3dtotal is very good, so, if you have no other beginners guides I recommend it, otherwise you will buy the same product as it happened to me
