Beautiful Blendable Colours
🎨 Product Review: Winsor & Newton Promarker Skin Tones I Set 🎨 When I received the Winsor & Newton Promarker Skin Tones I Set, I was immediately drawn to the beautiful array of colours included in the pack, showcasing a captivating spectrum of skin tones. Pros: The Promarkers boast beautiful and realistic colours that are easy to blend, allowing for seamless transitions between shades. This makes achieving smooth gradients and adding depth to artwork a breeze. Cons: While the colours in this set are stunning, there is a slight limitation in the range of shades available, especially for creating highly detailed and realistic portraits. It’s important to note, however, that this set is labeled as “Skin Tones I,” indicating that it is part of a series and may be intentionally limited in scope. 🎨 Usage Tip: For more intricate or specialized projects, consider combining this set with additional colour packs to achieve a wider range of tones. 💰 Value for Money: The Winsor & Newton Promarker Skin Tones I Set offers excellent value for its quality and blending capabilities. 🔍 Final Thoughts and Rating: In conclusion, the Winsor & Newton Promarker Skin Tones I Set left a positive impression with its beautiful and blendable colours. While the range of shades is not exhaustive for highly detailed portraits, the limitations are understood within the context of it being a “Skin Tones I” pack. Considering the intended purpose and the high-quality results achievable with these markers, I would rate them 5 out of 5 stars. For artists seeking a versatile and captivating set of skin tone markers for their projects, the Winsor & Newton Promarker Skin Tones I Set is a fantastic choice.

Awesome markers
Bought these to add to my growing set of markers and to also have quality alternatives to Copic markers which are quite pricey. For 48 markers of which that 48 includes a blender marker. Variety of colours but only one or two can be used for skin tone, I think. Not bothered because I bought another set specific for skin tone. I tested/ swatched them over a semi-smooth 300gsm craft card. Colours look great and kind of match the colour description on the markers. Even on a 300gsm card, there was some bleed through. I’m not bothered about that. They are markers and most of not all will do this. Easy grip. The box can be used as sturdy storage. I strongly recommend you keep the box. It looks great and keeps the pens organised and safe. Will be taking these in hand luggage when I go on holiday abroad. I’m sure they won’t cause security issue. The box is brilliantly designed and easy to open and close. Might have to buy a separate travel bag for these. The lighter colours started off as though were dry but after a few swatches the colour came through and pen was alive with good flow of ink. Love them

Pro Markers
Brought a few 6 sets of these markers in the past and liked them, So decided to get the 96 set. After receiving the set I found a few colours leaked from nibs, whilst swatchin them. I contacted W&N via an email and they promptly sent replacements for the leaking markers. Thank you W&N With that out the way.. I really like these markers and colour range. I am new to alcohol markers and been enjoying learning how to use them. Quality of markers are good, ink flows nicely, great colour range. I have been using artgecko 150gsm sketchbooks and the ink leaks through, but I have a bleedproof sheet I place behind page I am working on, just something that you should consider, when using alcohol markers. Obviously there's proper paper out there for alchol markers so it's down to the user. I like the artgecko paper so I use it regardless. Just a little graffiti attempt in picture of me learning to use markers. Hopefully this may be useful for anyone deciding to buy this 96 set or any other sets of W&N Pro markers. I like them and they they are worth every penny

Lovely markers... shame lids aren't more secure.
I bought these some time ago, but only got to try them today. Unfortunately, the very first marker I selected did not have its lid on properly, and consequently it didn't work because the ink had dried up; then checked the other pens and found another also bone dry because its lid was not secure. Both were the lids for the fine liner end of the marker, and all the other markers when I tried their lids very tightly secured. These are excellent marker pens and are exactly what I wanted, but they are not cheap, and when two of the pens do not work, it is somewhat annoying.

Five Stars
Amazing buy I was speaking about these today with a friend who has been using a pricey version for some time back now, she has heard of this company but always thought they were inferior to her well known brands ( she normally used the two top price range ones) but had run out of a particular colour. I offered to let her use these and she jumped at the chance to try them so she can tell me how bad that they are compared to hers instead she was stunned at the vibrancy of the colours and of the coverage. Her comments then went to fact she can refill hers I asked how often and was told dependent on the use and or popularity of the colours. When I told her I have had these from 2016 and they are still all the original markers in case she was stunned as she knows I've been using them regularly and have often taken them to my local branch of the salvation army woman's group where they can be used by the women learning various crafts and that I have used them daily when hospitalised for 6 weeks following an operation. I think I have persuaded that they are well worth a try considering the price she paid for the refills. Me well these were originally a purchase made with money received as a Christmas gift so never actually cost me anything. I have been asked to take over the running of the 3 craft groups each with over 45 ( maximum number of people allowed by local legislation) and am hoping that I can get the majority of the others involved in leadership that these are the best options both groups wise and personally my only fear is that they may be so popular that I will need to be replacing on a regular basis now

Buy them! They're beautiful!
These are absolutely beautiful! Bought them for an arty friend who has now done more artwork than ever as a result. Not only that, but I've joined in. Never been good mixing or choosing colour, but these layer & blend SO well and there's enough of a range of colours that it instils confidence when experimenting. The fine point is good for detail, only lacking when comparing to fine drawing pens - see the photos with comparison of strokes to Faber Castell and Sakura brush pens. They obviously dry lighter and can therefore look slightly different to their colour on the box (which is also great) but doing a colour swatch beforehand helps with this. Only after using all of them and doing lots of artwork have we reached the point where we realise we need even more colours....but these are 5/5 for a first buy selection. I paid £159 for these, and couldn't find them online for any cheaper, if anything, about the same or more expensive, so think these are good value too.

Great brush pens for shading
These are great brush pens to add shade and depth to pen and ink sketches. I’m really impressed that the greys are consistent when they are applied, building up a solid block of tone. There is a chisel nib at one end and a pointed nib at the other, so a choice of effects are possible. Excellent product.

Excelente calidad

Lovely colors. They work great! But wait for sales. The price is a bit high for the amount thats in a pack. (I know that they are a good brand but its still better to wait for a sale imo).
