Walking Stick Folding Stool & Chair, Lightweight Alloy Frame

Read a lot of the reviews beforehand as this was a gift for my father who has a bad chest and some days cannot walk far without a sit down. It is extremely lightweight and easy to carry. Has a comfortable handle to rest against. The seat is quite sturdy, made more so by having four legs to rest against. There is a little Velcro strap that keeps the seat part from hanging down when folded up. So far we haven't had a problem with the plastic feet. Extremely pleased with the product.

Useful as a seat and lightweight. The walking stick element may not be as useful as it can be a bit awkward to hold if you're used to a traditional stick. The 'ferules' at the bottom were only cheap plastic and one was already missing so I replaced with proper walking stick rubber ones. I was worried it wouldn't support my weight as I am over 14 stone but it felt sturdy when sat on.

Just arrived and I am really pleased with it. Firstly the seat is wider than others I have seen, the sitting height is fine too. It’s lightweight but sturdy enough to take my weight OK (16 st) When folded the walking stick is at a good height for me and the handles are padded. Exactly what I was looking for. Will be great for museums (I was lent something similar when we went to the V & A recently), gardens, festivals etc.

The problem with these products is that the requirement is really hard to satisfy. The person who needs something that they can sit on securely and comfortably, is not the person who can carry a robust enough chair. The lightweight stick the person can walk with without becoming too tired, is never going to convert into a secure and comfortable chair. The tripod style my elderly person has currently is too unstable to actually sit on. I would have more confidence in them sitting safely on this product, but I think it is just a bit too heavy for them to ever actually carry it. Also this comes with an Amazon recommendation for buying some additional rubber feet, I did that, and it was a mistake.

I am so pleased with this. Many thanks to the designers and supplier. I am awaiting knee surgery and am unable to walk very far. This is so lightweight and sturdier than my walking stick. It has enabled me to take longer walks as I am able to sit down when I like without the usual search for somewhere to sit. Thankyou so much.

I’m really pleased with this product for several reasons. I previously had one of these from the National Trust but it was very expensive and I left it on a train. I thought I would check on Amazon before using NT again and was very pleasantly surprised by the difference in price which is considerable. The product is very satisfactory. I use it when when I go to London for the day for my Street Photography sessions so I am carrying it around along with my camera and spare lenses. It is very light and holds my weight which is rather substantial!

Although at first glance this item looked good but after only it's first use I noticed that 1 of it's 4 legs had bent which on hard surfaces makes it somewhat wobbly now. This product was purchased to replace a very similar looking stool that had been used many, many times but had over the years lost a couple of it's screws which made the stool a little unsafe but none of it's legs had bent! It only goes to prove that old saying "you only get what you pay for" as the new stool was that much cheaper than my original one.

Seems well made and opens at exactly the angle shown in the image, but the seat height is not 55 cm as quoted in the extra product description: mine measured 52 cm from the ground, probably 50 cm once I'd sat on it. I had bought it because 55 cm was the greatest seat height of all collapsible stools that I could find - failing kneecaps make it hard to stand up and every inch makes a huge difference. Since I couldln't find a taller stool online, I decided to make 'leg extensions' for it, using aluminium tubing, wooden dowels, epoxy resin and chunkier rubber ferrules - this doubled the cost of the stool, but at least the seat height is now 55 cm. For my purposes and the extra cost incurred, I'd give 3 stars, but the stool does seem good for anyone who wants a 50-52 cm seat height, so I just dock 1 star for the mis-advert and thin plastic ferrules. It is lightweight and folds fairly flat.

Sgabello di emergenza, assolve egregiamente la sua funzione. Da usare con attenzione da parte di persone molto anziane, perché e' naturalmente leggero e quindi poco stabile se si cera equilibrio appoggiandosi allo sgabello. Lo uso per mio padre, per consentirgli di uscire contando sulla possibilità di riposarsi strada facendo, ma non è mai da solo quando si siede. Per il resto, lo consiglio a tutti per tutte le attività in cui è utile avere un appoggio in mancanza si sedie o.posti a sedere.

Totalement adapté pour moi qui suis handicapée

Bonjour, Je possède un tabouret canne depuis plus de 15 ans, et celui-ci est toujours en bon état. Je viens d’acheter cet article, et au bout de 15 jours il cède sous mon poids. Je pèse 80 Kg, mais il semblerait que les coutures (ou plutôt une suture collée) ne soit pas capable de supporté le poids d’un homme ! Est-ce que ce tabouret est réservé aux enfants ? Cet article n’a pas était testé, et n’est pas conforme à la législation Européenne…

Muy cómodo. Lo engancho al carrito de la compra por si lo necesito. Un poco más pesado que otros pero más práctico y cómodo.
