Draper Pocket Analogue Multimeter 37317

Its small but does everything I need it to do. Food price

Attention to detail, for example covers over the probe points. Very accurate and reliable.

This this is titchy, but does the job. As a few others have said, the supplied cables are a bit wimpy and if your thinking you can just use you regular cables from your Fluke or whatever you won't have any luck as they won't fit. This is good for home use, has a decent battery tester function. I find myself treating it like toy as it feels like one. Would I recommend it? Yes I would, it's a great little desktop device but I wouldn't use it in a commercial environment as I don't thinking would survive too long.

Neat compact meter, ideal for carry toolbag

Bought this as I had been looking for a long time for a pocket-sized handy test meter for wiring and power checks. Price was good, size was great, and thought the problem was solved. On day one, made a few continuity checks - no problems. On day two, set switch on 250 VAC range, and checked presence of UK mains voltage. The needle shot over and bent against the full scale stop (Our mains is normally in the 235-245 volt range). The mechanical zero adjuster doesn't bring it back anywhere near zero. Device now unusable. In 50 years of electrical and electronics work, this has never happened to me before. Back to the AVO!

If you are working with car / bike electrical systems, you don't want this one. The setting which covers 12v has a display which goes from 0-50v, so you can't tell the very crucial difference between 13.2v, 12.9v and 12.2v. Shame as it appears generally good but no use at all for me.

Very user-friendly multimeter, with a nice blue case (not boring black), and incorporates a 1.5vdc & 9vdc battery tester (often omitted by others) ... note: It is supplied without an internal AA Battery which must be fitted (for full operation) by removal of a back-case screw (small crosshead screw) all easy to fit (you will need a small screwdriver). Also there is no 'OFF' position, but it is safe to leave the selector-switch on any 'AC range' position without running the battery down. Otherwise all ok, recommend.

If you prefer an analogue display to a digital one, this is an inexpensive compact meter, with a useful range of readings. I bought it to replace a similar model I've had for decades. Then I found that the "fault" in the original one was a duff lead, which I have now fixed. So now I have two!

Only 2K Ohm per volt. Quality analogue testers for the last 60 years are 20 kOhm per volt. However instant Ohms or continuity testing is handy compared to slow DMM. Battery tester is handy. Some measurements and vintage pre-1950s radios and amps do benefit from the low impedance.

simple d'utilisation,fiable,ras.

Das Multimeter tut seinen Dienst, so wie es soll.

Economico ma fa il suo lavoro. Ideale per lavori di tutti i giorni, obbistici e non. Sufficiente la precisione, proporzionata al prezzo dello strumento. Arrivato completo di batteria e dotato di fusibile di sicurezza. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Perfect! Used to check error messages on my BMW 1100 RT electrical injection. Works very nice.
