Ola Prima Essential oils are NOT Therapeutic grade
I use quite a bit of essential oils for various purposes, since Covid I have been making a disinfectant spray for my work area since we share our work areas amongst 3 different shifts. Lately it has been becoming expensive, so I sought out bulk oils to use and save some money. I found the Ola Prima oils here, listed as therapeutic grade for a good price so I purchased several, they all turned out to be very weak except the ginger oil which smells very strong. It seems the first ingredient on their label is ethylene citrate followed by the essential oil. If they have to adulterate their lemon oil which is relatively cheap to produce, imagine the other oils. Since I'm only using these oils in a disinfectant I can be heavy handed with the tea tree oil and count on the alcohol in the mixture to do the job. With essential oils you have several grades:Synthetics- which as the name suggests is chemically synthesized.Plain essential oils - which could be anything containing essential oil (this is apparently what Ola Prima is)Therapeutic oils are supposed to be followed from growth to make sure no pesticides are used through extraction and bottling to ensure purity.Food grade which means that an essential oil is approved as a food additive, many oils can never be approved as a food additive as they can be toxic internally. Then there's pharmaceutical / laboratory grade. Theoretically the most stringently quality controlled, faux pas being that unscrupulous companies may try to claim synthetics are laboratory grade.Problem with the grading system is there is noone regulating it except possibly in the food grade category as the FDA must approve products that are food grade. So if someone claims their product is Therapeutic grade even though it isn't there is noone to stop them from doing so. Buyer beware.

Comes in plastic bottle
When I buy the cheapest per-ounce lemon essential oil on Amazon, I don’t have super high expectations. The scent isn’t anywhere near as strong as any other lemon EO I’ve used, when I was pouring it into a different container, I couldn’t smell it. Which brings me to the other disappointing piece... nowhere in the description did it state otherwise, but I was shocked to find 16 Oz of lemon essential oil in a *flimsy* plastic bottle. I quickly transferred it to glass, but I’m surprised it would be packaged in plastic!
